    F4W says...

At a house show in Sao Paulo, Brazil tonight, Jericho took a Brazilian flag Punk had, threw it on the ground and stomped on it for heat. Apparently, he was close to being arrested over it and pissed off people big time. WWE had to apologize to the government, quickly got Jericho out of the country and he's been suspended for ??? amount of time.

    lol

TMZ with a few more details...

After he stomped on the flag, local police actually stopped the show. They told him they would arrest him or he could apologize to the people, which he did.

    WWE suspended him indefinitely.

Listened to the podcast last night. Good work gents. Always enjoy hearing your thoughts. I want to demand more Jappy stuff to be discussed, but I know Rich doesn't really watch so that makes it tough. Still... more Jappy stuff...

I should watch more, I know. As I mentioned, time wise it's hard to really sit down and watch a lot of wrestling anymore. I can casually watch/listen/read results from American promotions, it's not as easy with Jap stuff.

Oh I feel ya. It takes more work to find. Combine with all the other factors in life - family, social life, other interests - and it just ain't as easy. I don't end up watching as much current stuff from Japan as I'd like cuz of that too.

That said... do more Jappy stuff.

There isn't much going on atm. But there are a few joint shows coming up (NOAH/All Japan/NJPW on June 3), plus the Best of the Super Junior starts late tonight/tmw.

I'm watching EVOLVE 13 from a few weeks ago, with Johnny Fairplay subbing for Larry Dallas (who is in Japan until July with Dragon Gate), and Fairplay just exemplifies how lame Larry Dallas is. Fairplay should be a regular.

In all fairness, it's Canada. Heck even the Marine Corps disrespected the Canadian flag during the World Series in 1992

Numerous sources within TNA are confirming that Don West, who has been with the company from day one as an announcer before moving on to head TNA's Merchandise end during the summer of 2009, has given TNA notice that will be finishing shortly with the company.
West, who had no previous experience working in the business, was brought in as an announcer for the company when they launched in June 2002. He and Mike Tenay soon became the company's announcing team, although West was also used at times as The Amazing Red's manager, which was a role he was very good at.
Don West is a great carnival barker. Dude can sell a gun to a pacifist. They asked him to do a lot of things he wasn't suited for over the years.

I'm catching up on ROH Border Wars right now.

Too bad the iPPV was a disaster, because this show fucking rules so far. The six man match was outstanding, and Rhyno/Edwards was very good. I havent even gotten to the main events yet.

Hate to turn this into a BORDER WARS thread, but Jay Lethal vs Tamasso Chiampa was damn good, too.

Fuck yeah he is. One of the TNA house shows I've been to over the years, he was like a madman selling all kinds of shit to the people. He could definitely see anything, it's a hell of a gift.
