Even after all of this, I still don't think we get a unified champion. I still think they each come down with the others belt. Still buying, but with how much they continue to emphasis it, it's not going to happen.

Running out to the ring, he's showered in his own merch PLUS a big gold belt that a LOT of nerds buy replicas of to show off at the shows.

Before he jumps in to do his schtick, he's handing out shirts/hats/wristbands that will inevitably be lost before the end of the night so parents/superfans will hit up the merch tables before that leave...

Hell, BEFORE he even goes out for his segment, there's hundreds of Cena fans already wearing the shit his ugly mug is selling on the online shop and in the magazine.

...what corporate boss isn't looking for a guy like him to be the face of the company?

Kayfabe aside, dude is 00's-2010's Hogan the way he pimps all the stuff you see fans wear and show up on camera with.

If HHH didn't like him personally on business alone, Cena'd be paid to lie flat on his back for NXT Rookies every night.

Moreover with Daniel Bryan winning what I'd assume is a shoot vote and having crowds consistently cheering him and almost universally so, I wonder if now is the time to finally move Cena to something different and have Bryan take over as the big face. Dunno, we've called it for years but this is one of the heaviest foreshadows I've ever seen. Those camera shots of the corporate group standing over a fallen Orton weren't an accident.

How many times have we, as fans, thought they were THIS CLOSE to pulling the trigger on Cena as some sort of heel...yet, its back to business as usual.

With that said...Cena's promos, two weeks in a row...FLAWLESS. This one, you could tell he switched it up on the fly as the crowd was shitting on Orton. Cena, when he wants to, a real #treat on the mic.

You have to wonder how much those promos actually bother Randy Orton because they are extremely accurate. Cena is basically shitting on Orton for being the human being that he is.

Cena also doesn't care which makes it less impactful, when someone does it to Orton you can definitely feel like he's seething deep down. Cena is a machine, you could call him whatever you wanted to his face and it won't change his expression or really have any effect on him personally.
