Relax, it's just like the HBK/Vince feud a few years back. Vince gets to beat up & embarrass Bret weeks leading up to WM, then at WM Vince gets his ass kicked.

They announced on ECW that the name is dead and in three weeks, WWE NXT will debut.

It's a move to try and boost ratings since ECW was seen as a C show. Sci Fi was not happy with that. The show will be built around younger guys with a few vets mixed in.

It IS the C-show, lol.

Terrible name, but at least it is relevant to what they are trying to do. ECW was Extreme Championship Wrestling...there hasn't been anything extreme about it in a LONG time.

They need to capitalize on it being a C-show to actually propel guys to the next level. The NXT Champion gets his shot on RAW and beats a top player...that propels him to big things.

Is Christian still going to be seen as a "NXT" guy? lol.

Christian said it best when he'd open the curtain in the WWE were people saw you over headline TNA where a small fraction of the fans saw you.

That whole feud was great.

There was one promo Punk did, I think it was in a basement and he said "THIS IS STRAIGHT EDGE" or something like that. Watched it online once and could never find it again. Not sure if Dafney was in it or another chick, too.
