No trophies for 7 years while losing several world class players yet somehow managing to keeping finishing in the top four and spending significantly less than the other big clubs in England. Would I prefer some trophies to be won? Fucking rights. Do I still appreciate what Wenger has managed to accomplish, given the circumstances? Fucking rights.

If you really think 7th place and the Carling Cup is a fantastic achievement, there's not much else to be said.

Well, you do seem to make a point to groan every post that points out Liverpool's results this season and makes any indiciation that these results could be seen as disappointing. Which would sorta make salty sense if you disagreed with that assessment. But if you agree and think 8th place and the Carling Cup is disappointing for a club of Liverpool's stature, yet still make the effort to groan posts, its not salty... its fucking retarded.
