I doubt they actually mean it, they're just trying to sound optimistic. But if they do? Congrats! Your team is as disillusioned as you!

Liverpool made loss of almost £50m

Meanwhile, enjoy that silverware! (y'know, if you even win)

Most of that is from writing off the stadium designs of the old owners and paying off Roy and others (money well spent), we would of broke even otherwise. Extremely rich coming from you considering your club has lost 60M, 70M, 45M and 65M the last 4 years

I like Stevie and Carra a lot but after what they did with Rafa and practically running the club themselves I take everything they say with a grain of salt. Those two are at the top of the list for our recent buy british policy and we're responsible for the Roy Hodgson push.

Not to mention Stevie's making sure he gets to play center midfield, rather than playing off of the striker which is his best position. Too lazy to be a true center mid.

I understand that most of it is from the old owners...but it's a problem the current owners have to deal with.

My club has nothing to do with this argument, really. And even then I've made it pretty clear that I would trade an FA cup for champions league in a heart beat, so that makes that point moot.

Been thinking about it and regardless of what happens tomorrow, I think Kenny should stay for another season. It does us no good to bring in another manager so quickly and try to put in a new philosophy again. Hopefully they abandon the buy british policy this summer and look abroad to fill our needs.

Is it too early for a hearty lol at Liverpool?

Well, a single trophy and a poor league finish. Money well spent

Ball was in. When it hits Cech's hand it was in. Tough call to make in the moment which is why goal line tech is needed. First 60 minutes was embarassing, last 30 we came to play. Kenny should've had Andy on at half. Piss poor first 60 minutes, truly embarrassing by everyone.

Goal line review is needed, but I don't think it was in anyway.

It's hard to make a convincing decision either way, I only saw it on Fox Soccer's terrible feed, but I thought he just saved it.

We played like shit for 60+ mins, it shouldn't take us to go 2-0 to show our true class but we didn't deserve to lose like that was clearly a goal. Carling Cup is a shocking season, come at me I deserve all the abuse

p.s. Andy I take back all tje bad things I said you more than proved yourself.

1:23. No way you can call that a goal without technology

Cech hits it forward and hits the bottom inside of the crossbar, clearly a goal.

Entire ball has to cross the line. It does get behind the bar, but he hits it forward back on to the bottom of the bar and out
