I know I'm not the only one that looks forward to the Combine.

I'm interested in seeing how the quarterbacks perform and which guys will separate themselves from the pack. Mallett, Locker and Newton will be throwing this weekend and the latter two especially need to perform well.

I've heard rumblings this is the guy Dallas is leaning toward if Peterson can't be had. Don't know how I feel about it. Didn't like the fact that he was so undersized, but if he can keep this weight on, that's a good sign. Only 20 years old.

307 is much better than the expected 285 and my goodness at the length of those arms.

Chan Gailey has already started shitting on players, he expressed disappointment in Leodis McKelvin and CJ Spiller and he called Cam Newton a Wildcat QB.

Ron Rivera expressed that the Panthers need a franchise QB and will be taking a look at Cam Newton.

Marcus Cannon is still too fat, showing up at the Combine at 358.

Stefen Wisenewski showed up with a better size than expected at 6-3, 313 with 33-inch arms. That will be a big help to him.

A lot of the top receivers are measuring close to their listed weights in college. No major omissions.

Ryan Mallett apparently wasn't impressive when he measured in.

One thing about this draft I have really disagreed with the "experts" about is the rankings of Ponder and Locker. During their college careers, especially last year, I haven't seen anything special. Locker has tremendous problems with accuracy and decision making while Ponder has huge issues with arm strength. Of course, Ponder has been injured for most of the year, but that raises questions about his durability. I wonder more so about Locker than Ponder since Ponder has at least looked very good at times in his junior year and in the Senior Bowl, meanwhile Locker has always been a bull when running the ball, but at a disadvantage when throwing. It should be a very interesting year for Qbs this draft and I think if I'm an NFL coach or GM I wouldn't take either of these guys until the middle to late 2nd round at least
