Duncan isn't held to the standard of "Potentially the best player of all time". It's a little different being compared to the Robinsons, Ewings, Malones, Barkleys, Pettits, etc....than being compared to Jordan.
I know this but the point remains the same.
Both stars didn't spread their stats out over the whole game. Lebron's team won and hisgame is being diminished while Duncan's team lost and he is getting praise.

Any other player has the kindve night Lebron had last night and its "he played like shit for most of the game but he had an amazing run at the end and turned it around." Lebron does it and everyone forgets when he played like shit completely and its "oh man Lebron played spectacular last night! Where do you rank that in the all time classics?"
Obviously that isn't true. Duncan had a great first half, shitty 2nd half, and I haven't heard anyone say he played like shit.
