Frye Earns Starting Job over Diaw

Bobcats Head Coach Larry Brown annouced today that Channing Frye will be getting the start when the Bobcats Face the Toronto Raptors tomorrow night. Brown said that Frye has been working hard in practice and it's shown on the court. Last night against The Timberwolves Diaw posted 15 Points on 5-15 Shooting along with 4 Rebounds in 30 Minutes of Playing time. Frye put in 11 Points on 4-5 Shooting and 3 Rebounds in 7 Minutes of playing time. Channing Frye is the new starting Power Forward in Charlotte.

He had a career high 37 in the first game then it all went terrible. He's a great pick and pop player but he does not make the jumpshots. He's an undersized PF too and gets over-powered in the post. Frye seems to be coming along nicely tho.

Q-Rich placed on IR

Head coach Larry Brown annouced today that shooting guard Quentin Richardson has been placed on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Richardson started 10 games for Charlotte when the Raja Bell Injury came along but has shot terrible since going back to a bench role. Tyronn Lue is active for the Bobcats next game against Toronto.

I usually do that with frye sometimes. But I could try that since frye is moving into the starting lineup and just have Joe Smith back up frye fully.
