I finally finished the story mode the other day. I got bored so I decided to play it and beat it on hard in about 7 hours. I have about 3 cheevos i need to pick up to be completely done with single player.
The story was ok. Im not a real fan of SP so it was just ok. What they tried to do was much better than how they executed it. All in all it was ok.

-No longer able to detonate C4 when you respawn
-MAVs are destroyed if they run into objects/soldiers with enough velocity (may still kill soldiers)
-MAV-lifting is gone
-Fall damage eliminated for short drops
-Flares no longer break a lock-on but do protect against laser guided missles
-Stinger/IGLA lock-on quicker and disable aircraft with one hit
-Frag round effectiveness has been reduced

Second biggest issue in the game imo.
I jumped on and played tonight since its been about 2 weeks since I've been able to play.
The thing I've noticed now is that everyone seems to be getting up there in rank and in turn there is a lot of crazy shit going on.
Heli's (hell most vehicles) are crazy over powered now and there really seems to be a gap from people that play it all the time and the people who sorta play it but only jump in when its available.
The main problem is of course the billion different add ons which causes severe inbalance to everything. I really wish developers would start realizing how bad this is and how much work it eventually causes them later on as they are constantly fixing and patching things that are caused by their own doing.

The USAS-12 and MK3A1 are getting a rate of fire nerf when frag rounds are equipped.
I disagree about getting rid of the semi-auto shotguns altogether. I don't feel they're nearly as much of a problem when they're equipped with other rounds. It's the combo of a higher rate of fire and a round that deals both direct hit damage and splash damage that's the problem IMO. If anything needs to be taken out, it's the frag rounds.

The first is "Close Quarters," with two new maps and ten new guns to Silver/Gold/Plat star... no vehicles though.
The second is "Armored Kill," with even more weapons, more expansive maps (Heavy Metal or BIGGER) and new vehicles to drive/blow up.
The last is "End Game," but no details as of yet.

From what I've read, when the Close Quarters DLC hits, their going to give gamers the option to use pay servers.
Like I posted before, you'll get to customize what you want in the match and just play with friends instead of pubbies all damn day... now for a fee.
So basically what PC users get now.

On a more serious note, this will be good for the console competitive scene that's been clamoring for customizable matches since the onset. I'm not sure I'd really be too interested in custom servers depending on what happens with the patch.
