So, I bought this on PC a few weeks ago when Amazon had it for under $10. I haven't played that much. I'm still getting used to the mouse/keyboard configuration, and I've only played Canals TDM because I figure it'll help me get used to the controls quicker by having to play in a more hectic environment. Starting back at zero for everything is an added challenge as well.

I tried flying on an empty server and failed miserably. Part of the problem is that I need to change the bindings in order to closer match what I use on PS3, but I also need to get used to the added sensitivity that the mouse affords you.

Overall, it's still pretty damn fun. I'm usually lucky to break even on kills, but this is my best match so far.

I thought it was pretty comical seeing about half my PSN online friends playing this game earlier. A day after CoD releases and all the smarter people are playing Bf3. I love it.

I would be down to play with you at some point, but I am beyond terrible with a mouse and keyboard for a shooter. Any tips? Or is it possible for me to use a 360 wired controller?

The hardest part of the switch was getting used to where each action was on the keyboard and not hitting the wrong key when you're under pressure. I can't tell you how many times I've thrown a medkit at a fallen teammate instead of taking out my defibs because I pressed 3 instead of 4.

I love the precision that the mouse offers you when you fire a gun though. Once you get used to how far you have to pull the mouse to adjust for recoil, it's much easier to stay on target than a controller IMO.

Speaking of which, I'm sure you can use a controller. I've read that people use them to fly, and I'm thinking doing that myself since I don't like the yaw speed with my mouse.

Not at all man, The squad I used to run with on xbox we ran hard core all the time and team killing is just going to happen. As long as your not planting c4 on a jeep or tank at our deployment area and waiting for me to get into it and blow it up the second I get in because if that shit happens your a douche lol.

I'll be more vocal on the mic next time, first time ive played with you guys but still had fun. I'll be on most of the week to take advantage of the double xp to help me level up since im having to start over from scratch

Grenade physics tend to not car about who's getting exploded at the time of impact. :shifty:

I don't know why I feel the need to grind for some of these Assignments. I hate half the guns that you need to get 100 kills with.

• Sticks and Stones (unlocks Crossbow) - win three rounds of Scavenger
• It's OK to Thank Me (unlocks Scan Bolt) - get 20 Spot Assists, designate 10 vehicles, get one designate assist
• Stay Away From My Tent (unlocks Balanced Bolt) - get 50 kills with sniper rifles, get 10 headshot kills with sidearms
• A Good Demo Man (unlocks Explosive Bolt) - get five kills with hand grenades, get five kills with underslung grenades, get five C4 kills
• Go Play Close Quarters (unlocks Crossbow Scope) - total 150 meters of headshots each with sniper rifles, assault rifles, and carbines

Dogtags:

• Archery 101 - get five Crossbow kills

Finally unlocked all the co-op weapons so now I can grind on multiplayer. I thought it would suck starting over but it's actually fun specially when I'm running the entire map at level 13 vs all these 100 star generals lol

I can see a lot of shenanigans with C4 and RPGs being used from those who didn't move on through MW3 and the new BLOPS.
