If Activision has done one thing, its that. They have marketed the shit out of all of the COD games starting with Modern Warfare. Battlefield will certainly be the better game, but they have an uphill climb because everyone knows about COD and buys it every year.

Its to the point of Madden, whether good or bad, people will buy it and support it. EA should know a thing or two about that one.

I bought Bad Company 2 a couple of weeks ago and have played the living shit out of it. I can't believe how much I enjoy that game and how COD is like a distant memory for me. I can't wait for BF3 now.

I bought the game used for $20 and didn't play for a couple days. A buddy of mine that I've known since kindergarten was at my house and saw that I had it and said he'd been wanting to try it as well. I let him borrow it since I was playing more NCAA than anything. Anyway, I kept seeing him on PSN playing for hours on end and thought to myself, hmmm, it must be pretty decent. I couldn't get the fucker to bring it back!

I had to go over to his house and get it which then forced him to go buy it too. We've been playing it together for a week or so now and it's a great game. I'm highly impressed and looking forward to October 25th!

That reminds me of the time I played with Brnt on 360. Yes, I have both versions because I love the game that much. He was standing right next to a guy screaming "Give me ammo! I'm out!" He started jumping up and down and crouching in front of the guy and the guy was clueless. The he fired a few 'warning' shots at him. The guy finally dropped some ammo. LOL.

That is the one thing that I hope they change for 3. As much as I love the whole squad mechanic, not being able to talk to other teammates is just dumb. There should be some kind of proximity chat when near another teammate or something.

Did anyone else read the July issues of Game Informer with Darksiders 2 on the cover? I'm just getting around to it and in the letters section they discuss a poll they had in a previous issue asking the readers which military FPS franchise was their favorite.

It said "Despite most readers assuming CoD would easily win, Battlefield received more votes than any other franchise."
