I like to play rush and 4 squad tdm mostly.

Yeah, I just read the Joystiq PC review and I'm pretty disappointed to hear about the toned down destruction. They mention that all of the destruction in the campaign seems scripted and there is nowhere near the destruction in multiplayer that there was in BC2. That's a shame because the destruction with the Frostbite Engine is one of the biggest draws of the Battlefield series.

Well, they stated with the beta that destruction is different. It's supposed to be more detailed destruction as opposed to being able to collapse buildings.

To be fair, the ability to collapse buidings was really annoying in BC2. If you played anybody worth a damn, they would just collapse all of the buildings in your spawn and make it damn near impossible to hide.

I am disappointed that most aren't finding the campaign to be very interesting story-wise.

Youll have to find one you like. Every game mode serves its own purpose. I like Rush the most. Then Squad Deathmatch after that. Then Conquest (CTF), and sqaud rush last. But, Rush is where its at.

I'm surprised the textures don't appear to pop in. I feel bad for anyone who is going to play this without the hard drive space.

Blowing up most of the enemy's cover was entertaining enough in BC2.

The worst part was having some prick hide in the smoldering rubble, picking off my dudes because I forgot to spot him. :smh:

The best part was dropping a house on a group of bums that dug in like ticks on a Conquest map.

On-topic, when concerned with the single-player: Bad Company has really been the only semblance of "story" for the series.

Sure, there's the basic, "You're Side A; go capture this set of Points and keep those bastards from Side B from taking them," but there's never been characterization until BC1/BC2.
