Support can do all that? I didn't really think there was a way for us (support) to disable a vehicle outside of being in another one shooting at it. Anytime I see a tank roll up on me, i throw a grenade and try to hide but I'd love suggestions what might work better lol

100 AT kills and SMAW Service Star 1 on the same rocket :coolugh: Shot it into a crowd of 3, got 1 kill out of it.

I unlocked the QBZ-95B which I heard sucks but I'll try it later. Still need to finish off the unlocks for the HK53.

I'd say I'm more afraid of Support people when I'm in a tank than Engineers because if they get up close they can take you out instantly with C4. Happens quite a bit to me if I get in a tight area.

Just roll with C4, if you see a vehicle coming, don't let them see you. If they get close run up real quick, throw a few C4's on their vehicle, then run like hell and laugh as you are detonating it.

That is Assault, support has C4 and the LMG's that hold like 300 rounds per clip

Also with the update, I've noticed my claymores are not disappearing when I respawn. I think they made it to where they stay planted but you can only have a total of 2 clay mores planted on the map at one time. (If this has been mentioned in this thread already, muh bad)

Wish there were match progression graphs so I could see this match again, we were down over a hundred tickets early in the match, but once we took B it was annihilation time

I ran out of ammo at one point and was reduced to firing only RPG's, got a triple kill. So I see 2 support people on the other side of the B area, so since I had no ammo I sprinted across managing to barely get hit by any gunfire somehow. I get over there, and request ammo from both of them, but got nothing :ugh: I guess that is what you get when playing with randoms. I would have been over 40 kills if I didn't run out of ammo.

I have such a love/hate relationship with Metro because the matches are usually extremely lopsided.

Also I didn't know that if one of your teammates takes off in a vehicle without you, you can spot their vehicle to let them know you want picked up. Of course there are still douchebags that ignore you and keep going.

It really feels like they nerfed the IRNV scope even more from the original nerf.

Basically unusable now. I understand it was cheesey in broad daylight, but even in the subway in Operation metro, where you think it would have its best advantage was just horrible.

I don't know what the deal is on PS3 as it seems like they only nerfed it once. Metro and Grand Bazaar it is useless, but it is still the same on all of the other maps

As for the IRNV being nerfed, what are you guys referring to? I know what nerfed means but what did they do exactly? Because now that you mention it I remember the IRNV scope on my M241 being pretty fucking bad ass and then about a week ago it wasn't as good. It seemed to be cloudy most of the time. And forget about explosions and dust flying around you. Is that what you;re referring to?

Before any updates, the IRNV scope would make a sniper light up like a christmas tree on ANY level. Even if they were like 300-400 meters out.


Now, on certain maps. Its like looking through thick ass fog.

Overall Im glad they nerfed it because it was getting where EVERYONE, no matter what class they were in was using it. It was cheesy none the less.

From what I've experienced, on Operation Metro the when aiming down scope all I see is bright whitish-green, and on Grand Bazaar you have to wait 2-3 seconds after ADS and then you can kind of see people with the IRNV

Decided to play Squad rush for the ribbons and it was quite enjoyable, almost peaceful when the other team just wants to sit at their spawn and try to snipe you when it is their turn to arm :rofl:

I got put in with a good team though and the PS3 mics were working just fine.

4 teammates with 4 different squad perks going that are communicating is a great feeling.

Yea it is.

I always have Squad Grenade and my cousin always uses Squad Explosives

Always having 2 Grenades and 6 M15 AT MINE's comes in handy.

Battlefield 3 expansion Back to Karkand, featuring remastered maps from Battlefield 2, isn't the first time DICE revisited one of its games, and it appears it won't be the last. One eagle-eyed gamer spotted an easter egg that indicates DICE intends to make like Doc Brown and go back to the future with 2143.

DICE is fond of teasing future projects with easter eggs, most notably teasing Battlefield 2142 in the Battlefield 2 Euro Forces and Armored Fury map packs. Speculation is that 2143 will be the next entry in the Battlefield franchise and a direct sequel to 2142.

However, it's worth noting DICE's recent trend of going back to its previous games and remastering maps. Digital game Battlefield 1943 was based on the original Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 expansion Vietnam is based on the second game in the franchise, Battlefield Vietnam, and Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is based on Battlefield 2 maps. So 2143 could very well be the next expansion for BF3 based on the 2142 standalone game.
