And yes there is no reason why Dallas shouldnt do well this season but all i was trying to say is that you cant blame everything on injuries there was clearly some coaching (Garrett mainly) or lockeroom issues going on there to . The Cowboys have one of the most talented teams in football , i just dont like when it seems like people blame everything on injuries .

And ESPN dont show in the UK last time i checked. I watched the Baltimore and Philly game thats why i mentioned them . I didnt see all of the Cowboys games so i didnt think it was fair to pass judgement on them games

Losing Haynesworth is going to be HUGE, dont discount that.
That is not a hole easily filled.

Collins threw one interception but it didn't change the game. Crumpler's fumble and LenDale White's fat ass are huge reasons why they lost. Plus the runningback that was tearing up that oh so great Ravens D got hurt as well.

Mark it down - Haynesworth will not play the entire season for Washington. He'll bitch about an injury or such cause he has his money now.

Losing Big Al is not that bad of a loss. Once again, we got deeper at that position and we rotate players in and out on the line a lot. Oh and that win over the Steelers was just one game? Haynesworth wasn't the best defensive lineman on the team that day, it was a second round pick from Eastern Michigan. Jason Jones had four sacks!

Haynesworth and that position isnt about sacks. Haynesworth was arguably best Defensive player in the league last year. Easily DPOTY through the first 10 games.
Titans allowed almost triple the rushing yards and double the passing yards with Haynseworth out of the lineup last 2-3 years.

Ask the Chargers if losing Merriman didnt hurt , or NYG losing Usi.
You dont lose that level of DL and not suffer.

The plus side is Ten does have alot of depth. But thinking they wont miss a beat is a bit of a stretch.

The only reason I dont think theyll have a massive decline is because Jeff Fishers a damn good coach. He always has the defense and team prepared.




And to harp on the Marino bashing. Much as I respect the guy he sucked in in crunchtime. NFL network has some loopy picks. Probably because theyre giving total numbnuts from Footballoutsiders a say in it.
Marino would have some really bad performances in the playoffs against teams he would do really well against in the reg season. You cant throw 3 TD in week 10 then throw 3 ints first week of Jan and blame the defense or running game.

Im the first to trash Garrett and that offense. But frankly at the end of the day Romo has all the say. He knows that playbook , he knows what works. He has the full freedom to audible or change whatever he pleases. You get a shit play you say F that and call your own. Aikman , Elway , Brady , Ben you think they have multiple rings by standing pat on every call ? Sometimes you gotta take it by the balls. Romos failed miserably at that. Too many plays that shouldnt be ran and too many throws that shouldnt be made.

Garret and Romo are out of excuses. Romo has alot to prove to me this year.

I'd say the NFC South and NFC East have teams that are always competing for a playoff spot. Especially the East, that's why the call it "The Beast". lol.

Anywho, besides the ever-turbulent NFC South, I'd also say the AFC south is pretty strong. I was really surprised when Jacksonville had such a poor season... The AFC East also has a lot of good teams, so the East and South are the four strongest divisions in pro football, in my opinion.

The AFC North is good, but I'm not sure about the Browns as contenders. They may very well be, though. The Ravens and Steelers play some of the toughest football in the league... and the Bengals may be on the cusp of a playoff berth.

The NFC North is good, too, but not great. The Lions are complete garbage and I think the Bears might be down there with them this year if they don't do something soon...

Both Western Divisions suck, and this is coming from a Raider fan... So I would know.

So, as aforementioned, I think the best division in football is the NFC East, followed by the NFC South, and then the AFC South, and AFC East... in that order. That's the top half - the top four - divisions in the NFL... in my opinion.

Unlike the Chargers and the Giants, the Titans more of the depth at that position that they shouldn't have to worry about that. They'll suffer a little bit, but I just don't think they'll suffer as much as everyone thinks they will. People are saying "oh, Tennessee's done without Albert. Houston's passing them and getting a playoff spot, blah, blah." Even though the defensive passing and rushing yard totals will go up a little bit, their passing game has improved a little bit with the acquistions of Nate Washington and Kenny Britt, which will put a little less pressure on that defense.

Exactly. Fisher is one of the best coaches in the league and always can get the best out of his players.

I don't think that the Titans are going to be 13-3 like last year; that probably won't happen, especially with Peyton and Indy at full strength and an improved Houston squad in their division. But to dismiss them as Super Bowl contenders like some people do on here, just cause they lost the best player on the deepest position the team has, is stupid.

The NFC East is not on the same level. The Cowboys are overrated, and the Skins are a joke.

The NFC East is ridiculously overrated. The Giants are the only top-tier team in the division, and the Redskins are terrible.

The AFC South is the best bet at this point, but if everyone lives up to potential, the AFC East could be damn good. The NFC South is the sleeper, as I think Carolina could surprise and Atlanta's new firepower is pretty impressive, but Tampa will be terrible.

Most competitive is NFC West. Seattle should return to form, as they finally have a legit WR instead of a bunch of random guys thrown in there. Arizona is going to be a better team with Beanie Wells in the mix and planning for 3 Pro Bowl type receivers from the get go, not to mention an improved DRC. The 49ers should be a 9-7 team, but could pull off some upsets and make the division very interesting. St. Louis is terrible and will continue to be terrible.
