Just wrapped up with Booker T, he gave us close to an hour, I think it went very well, he was a bit guarded at first but loosened up and didn't shy away from any of our questions. Interesting life, I learned some things here, he BURIED Buff Bagwell for the Tacoma disaster so that was fun, lots of good stuff.

Needs a lot of editing so it should be up by the morning.

The racism he faced in Dallas while wrestling for Skandor Akbar was a big part of his book. The older guy he mentioned (Oz?) that he respected and was showing him the ropes a little had told him to have a thick skin about it and that one day it wouldn't matter.

Yeah, I think he couldnt hear me, so I repeated the question but rephrased it by saying something like "Did you get overtures while working for WCW for ten years", meaning WWE overtures, but since he missed that part the first time, he took it as racial overtures.

Since we are just two days out from SummerSlam, ask him what he thinks the one thing that we should look out for and make sure we see

Ask him if he was a fan of wrestling growing up and if so who were his favorites? And can he still play a mean drum.

Ask him how he avoided LOLing when the Shockmaster fell through that wall.

We asked all of these in some form or fashion, maybe a few of the other too, didn't get to everything you guys wanted asked, but we did try to get a lot of them in.

Thank you for the time in doing these. Is there any chance that we could turn this into getting a semi-regular thing with a superstar from WWE to do a show with? Not sure how Mr Bill got this, but if he got Booker T to appear on this, surely we could continue to interview guys who are trying to get some other media things some exposure.

It's very hard to book WWE talent. Most of them direct you to the company PR department because they don't want to do something the company doesn't approve of.

Mr. Bill booked this through Booker's publicist. I'm assuming that since he has a book coming out, he has permission from the company to book his own publicity for it, either that or he just doesn't give a fuck.

We will continue to book interviews, we really like doing them, but I can't promise WWE talent on a regular basis. To be able to land the caliber of guest we have been able to land so far, with just a couple of months of shows under our belt, I consider us very lucky. Getting traction is difficult, but when people we approach see the caliber of guest we have had on, it will make it easier to book them.

Background...haven't read the book, haven't followed wrestling in a decade or so but am familiar with Booker T. Also never listened to you guys before either.

Obviously I learned something about the guy and his story, may get the book. Hearing his views on prison life is interesting.

-Were the questions pertinent?

Tough to say, were what you asking him answered in the book? If it wasn't, then the questions would be spot on IMO. Asking questions that lead to getting non book details, or further thoughts on what is told in the book would be what you want.

-Did we engage the guest is a professional and smooth manner?

I'd say so. You both sound well and it came off as a professional interview/conversation.
