Anyways, I'll let CoD players be nowadays. Two very different types of games that will appeal to different types of players. Personally, I don't enjoy CoD like I used to with 2, 3, MW, WaW and MW2, but hey, that's me. If peeps want to play it, go ahead. I still wish they'd strive to push the game development more like they used when we saw the massive jumps with 4 and MW2.

If enough of my friends/VSNers get it for PS4 I'll grab it around Christmas time. COD is my game of choice when drinking, I sure as hell can't play BF drunk. :rofl:

Battlefield is fun in its own ways but I FUCKING HATE that matches take 45 mins sometimes. It really does suck and feel like it takes forever. Then to top it off, they really dont have enough game modes. I really do love Rush and Conquest but there are times when I just get sick of it. I really do suck with the vehicles and only use them f my friend is driving since hes great with them, but its one aspect of the series I've never enjoyed because I simply cant learn to use them. Its not from a lack of trying, its simply because I fucking suck at the controls of any vehicle. I also hate that people say BF is so much more team oriented then COD. I am not saying it isnt, but the difference isnt major. There are so many matches where my friend and I are the only ones actually going for the objectives rather then worrying about our scores. And the camping aspect is worse in Battlefield than COD from my experience. If your defending on Rush and set it up right, they will have one hell of an impossible task of getting by you. Then if you use spawn beacons properly, you can get absolutely raped if the rest of your team is full of shitbags. They both have flaws and both have preferences that suit certain players, but there is no clearly better game one way or the other.

I don't care if you like either game, whatever, but I can't believe they are still getting away with releasing this trash. The last one I played was MW3 and I was laughing at how bad it was the whole hour I played it.

Yep. I actually enjoyed Gun Master. TDM on Canals is fun as hell too.

I obviously haven't played the new game modes, which look awesome btw if you haven't seen them. Of the 16 in Blops, I played 9 consistently. In Ghosts, it should move up to 13-15.

Call of Duty Makers Explain Why Resolution Is Lower On Xbox One

When word came out last month that upcoming dog simulator Call of Duty: Ghosts runs at a higher resolution on PS4 than it does on Xbox One, the reactions were loud and angry. Was this a launch-day anomaly, or will all multi-platform games perform better on Sony's console?P

Today, the people who make Call of Duty have an official explanation, and it ain't great news for Microsoft. Speaking to Eurogamer, Infinity Ward boss Mark Rubin put it quite candidly: on the Xbox One, they had to sacrifice resolution to get the game running at the 60 frames-per-second they wanted.P

"It's very possible we can get it to native 1080p [resolution]. I mean I've seen it working at 1080p native," Rubin said. "It's just we couldn't get the frame rate in the neighborhood we wanted it to be. And it wasn't a lack of effort. It wasn't that it was like last minute. We had the theoretical hardware for a long time. That's the thing you get pretty quickly and that doesn't change dramatically. P

"It was more about resource allocation. The resource allocation is different on the consoles. That huge web of tangled resources, whether it's threads-based or if it's GPU threads or if it's memory - whatever it is - optimization is something that could go theoretically on forever."P

All I can say it is disappointing that the Xbox one cant achieve 60FPS at 1080p and their rival/cheaper opponent can.

Will it matter sales wise??? I think very little.

The biggest difference is that people don't want Kinect and don't want to pay $100. When Titan fall and Halo and Gears drop on the Xbox One...a lot of people will drop the dough.

PS4 will come out of the gate screaming but barring no hardware failures I think both systems will sell well and stay pretty even in the next 5 years.
