If 3rd person is available online, then I can see how it can be useful. Back in the original Rainbow Six days on the PC, my clan used to practice battles while switching between FPS and 3rd Person views. It helped us a lot, FPS was used to engage someone usually, and 3rd person was used to scout out the terrain around the corner or in the distance.

If they do provide that in MP, I hope its a quick toggle between the modes. Otherwise it will be a total pain in the ass.

Just game modes. You'll just select 3rd person team death match. Its just another game mode, like Search and Destroy or Ground War.

Yeah, the one where you helicopter crashes right? It does have stone bridges that are similar to it. There wasn't a multiplayer map based on it in the first game so it doesn't really bother me.

Plus, I'm not sure on this, but aren't the Spec Ops maps different from the Multiplayer maps?

Yea there are some ridiculous rumblings on Digg about the opening sequence and something about killing civies. I don't know.......I am trying to ignore as much of story related previews as possible.

My questions is if stuff is being leaked, then why do we have to wait 2 weeks for the damn game?!?! I mean I understand that the launch date coincides with Veteran's Day and you want to make the launch special, but most of the whiny bitches online don't even know what Veteran's Day is or care for it. Release the damn game already!!

Yea I have ignored the bits and pieces on Digg. If its MP or COOP, I am reading that stuff for gameplay hints.

I was this > --- < close to purchasing one of the most recent Playstation Magazines to get a leg up on the multiplayer maps.

Basically $5 for three pages of maps and it wasn't even complete. :banghead:
