Anyone have the tactical knife attachment? I just saw this today, but haven't even used any of the guns that have it.

Wondering what exactly it is/does.

It also adds to your sidearm kills (for whatever pistol/gun you're using it with) everytime you stab someone.

Great way to score attachments.

As for the "oh noes, Hova will be understoppable now!!!11" worry, just shoot him in the face or slap a Semtex grenade to his person. :jamesdean:

You get it after you complete a couple of challenges for your pistol/weapon.

It's under the same principle as earning a Red Dot attachment or a Silencer.

not really an attachment. It's just that one hand has a knife ready to go, while the other has the pistol. It helps you get quicker knife kills.

So you do have to have the pistol out? I wasn't sure on this.

Damn, then my career-record 19 knife kill streak earlier was just using the regular knife. Woaahh.

Yeah, Derail is awful. I heard if you are decent sniper it's as not bad, but I hate sniping. I find a different game if that map comes up.

Afghan, Estate, Invasion, Skidrow and Terminal; the rest I'm no fan of. Derail, Highrise, Quarry, Rundown, Scrapyard, Sub Base, Underpass and Wasteland all make want to shoot myself instead of the enemy.

Im not a fan of sniping either, too boring for me. Plus I hate sneaking around all spec ops and shit. Only to have some dick run up on me with a knife before I can get a kill lol

i like all the maps except....i hate wasteland and im not a huge fan of derail or overpass. i cant see shit on overpass....derail and wasteland are nothing but a campfest.

I like most the maps, but hate sniping and camping. There is map control and then there is camping. Two different things.

Ya, I don't really mind snipers (although like I said I don't like sniping myself), because it takes some level of skill, and for the most part they are easy to kill once you know where they are, the campers are what annoy me the most. One reason why I like Highrise so much - you can't camp on it to the point that you can on most other maps. The guys that like to stay in one spot get eaten up by the smart players that go through the tunnels and come up behind them.

Likewise, it's one of the reasons I hate Rundown. The map itself is kinda neat, but everytime I play it, all people do is sit inside a random building and wait for someone to come in to kill them. It's just so boring to me.

Course I am a guy that doesn't really give a shit whether my K-D is .37 or 4.37, so I may be diff. (it's 1.24 right now)

I like Wasteland mainly for the fact that I can rack up a ton of kills just by working my way around the outer edges of the map. Sniper never see me. People towards the middle never see me. I don't mess with the tunnels in that map because it's a suicide mission.
