Fucking Olindo Mare man... what a shitbum... but the Panthers up21-14 had SO many chances to close that game out and couldn't do it. Cam played great tho... Naanee had his normal dropfest the majority of the game. Man I really wanna see a premier free agent defender come in FA to help this defense. Really missing Beason right now. Did good first half tho.

That's what I saw in the game. Adrian Peterson had the ball pretty much all game. I think he touched the ball more than Ponder threw it too. Responsible for pretty much half of the offense's total production.

Outside of the TD's and a few more yards, I don't see how Cam was so lights out better than Ponder. Cam also had 2 fumbles, and Ponder looked really good on 3rd down, so I'd say it's a pretty equal game by both.

In the end will Cam end up being a better QB? More than likely, but as a Vikings fan I've enjoyed what I've seen from Ponder in his two starts, and am optimistic for the future.

I think Brandon Lafell is more than capable of filling the possession WR role, just needs work getting separation.

I'm on the other end, I don't know if I wanna be on a playoff run as we are now. For the rest of the season I want the coaching staff to see what works. There are still talks of us moving to a 3-4 this offseason, and we've already ran a few sets of it. The main problem with that is it leaves out our best defensive assets as of now in the cold. Our 43 Defensive Ends Hardy, Johnson, and Applewright. We already shift them in and out, but I couldn't imagine us doing that with them all at the 3-4 edge rusher role. Find out what works for us, and come back next season with Beason, hopefully a healthy Davis. Or whoever we draft (Hoping for Matt Khalil)/ramble

Well, you also have to account for what Newton does on the ground as well. Passing wise, yes, their statistics aren't far off, but Newton was also the Panthers leading rusher. In terms of their entire offense's production, Newton was certainly better than Ponder.

no healthy Davis, he will be cut, has to be. The Panthers protected themselves in that deal where he can be cut before his 8+million bonuscomes along in March. That cap space is valuable and needs to be used on somebody who can stay on the field more. Hate to see TD go cuz when healthy he is a great player.

Should be a close game seeing the Panthers defense is terrible and CJ20ydspergame could get some good numbers.

I am fucking sick to my stomach right now... Greg Olsen is almost single handedly losing this game and the defense has done alright outside of dumb penalties. Special teams giving up a PR TD is a killer and Mare missing a FG again.... counting up the drops Cam should of had 150+ passing in the first half... Hopefully we get a strong second half and the receivers and o-line step up

And he was playing with a tight shoulder (not 100%) and he was still making nice throws. Not all were perfect. There was an INT that was called back because of illegal contact downfield, but I think Cam saw the flag and just tried to go for the big-free play.

It was behind him, to his back shoulder because the defender was inside of Naanee... a smart throw meant to not be intercepted... Nannee had it in his chest... only problem was the throw was a foot or two lower then where it should of been
