Pennington was not benched for Henne. CP injured his throwing shoulder again last year week 3 in SD. He just got back to 100% around week1 or 2.

I think I like this. I don't think you can write Henne off completely yet because he shows potential, but this is definitely a final wake up call and his last chance. Right now, CP is still the best answer. Personally, I and most Dolphins fans love CP. He is genuinely a great guy, gives it his all, is accurate, and makes smart choices. His only downfall is his arm strength. I'd be hoping for CP to do well even if he wasn't a Dolphin.

The reality is though....Miami needs to start dominating in the run game or shit is going to get worse. With Ricky and Ronnie, it's inexcusably.

Henne is one of those guys with a gun for an arm, but who can't be anything more than a 58.0% passer.
In today's NFL, that kind of QB is obsolete.

I know none of my (Jet) friends hate him. Never liked him joining the Dolphins, but it was his choice. I won't mind rocking my Pennington jersey after he retires/stops playing for the dolphins.

I remember the last time I rooted for the dolphins/pennington was in 2008, week 17. The Dolphins were at the Meadowlands, and me and my family had gotten tickets to go see Favre's then supposed last game. The Pats/Jets/Dolphins all could win the division and go to the playoffs.

The problem was that during the game, it was announced that the Pats had won their game and eliminated all hope for the Jets to go to the playoffs, and either the Pats or Fins would advance. A majority of the fans started rooting for the Fins (myself included), since the Fins advancing was better than the Pats advancing.

Yeah, Henne seems to be able to make all the throws...he just forces the ball into coverage a little too often. I'm surprised with this benching.

Gonna miss him but i was worried the last shoulder injury would finish him...it didn't look bad today but damn, it's a bad way for him to go out...he had a solid career.
