Would have been better if Murray had a year under his belt. It could very well happen, but Florida is still going to be a top 5 program and Tennessee is only getting better.

i agree on the Murray part. That is why I think he should have played starting with the Vanderbilt game.

Florida will be down for a year. The will lose Tebow and Spikes (their two leaders) along with the rest of their seniors and also potentially 7-8 juniors. Tennessee will be better but the only reason they beat us was because our DC couldnt defend a bootleg. Our DC won't be here next year :rockwoot:

No way UF is down. They will have a much better offense next year which will include the nation's best offensive line to give Brantley some time. Bostic will be just as good if not better than Spikes. Andre Debose also comes back from injury and will fill in for the Harvin position they needed this year. And I'm pretty sure Dunlap is coming back with a possibility that Haden returns as well.

The key to Florida's offense was the threat of the inside run to Tebow. Their running backs ran horizontally and off tackle. Tebow was the power, between the tackles running game. That is why their offense struggled when Tebow was out this season.

And dont say they won a NC in 2006 with Chris Leak. Their defense won that NC

Florida won't be down long, it will be like 2007 without Tebow.

I don't usually enjoy seeing Georgia win this game, I'm a mild Tech guy just from being from the city. But as a conference homer, I have to LOL a bit at seeing the ACC's top two teams going down to midlevel SEC teams.

G-Tech has played above their talent level, and their defense isn't good at all, so it shouldn't be that big of a surprise for a midlevel SEC team to beat a top ACC team (the ACC is garbage).

I don't know if Mark Richt is a genius or a criminal. He's obviously fighting for his job after yet another year of underachievement, and the only way Georgia would lose to Tech is if Tech's offense simply outscored Georgia's. So, good work by Georgia to, IMO, intentionally injure Nesbitt early in the game. Tech never really recovered, because they lost basically an entire quarter of offensive production without Nesbitt. They also tried to take out Thomas by impaling him onto the yardage marker 5 yards out of bounds. Weak sauce.

What happened was this, our team has made alot of "almost" tackles this year where a player breaks the tackle at the last second. Since the Tennessee Tech game, our players have been holding on to the player till the whistle blows to make sure he is down. Nesbitt landed awkwardly with his leg being caught under our huge DT Kade Weston. Our linebacker Marcus Dowtin was holding on from behind but his back was leaning against Tech's running back Allen. When Allen moved, Dowtin lost balance and fell backwards causing Nesbitt to go with him all while his leg was caught under Weston. Completely incidental.

On the Thomas play, it was definitely a late hit. Late hits have been a problem all year but it wasnt trying to harm Thomas. Our player was tackling him late and then Bryan Evans came late and couldn't slow down fast enough and ran into both of them. This caused the tackle to go sideways into the first down marker. Nothing more, nothing less
