Nothing against the Raiders, yet seeing how McDaniels was able to groom both Brady and Cassel he'll have a field day in developing Cutler. I don't see the Raiders Pass D stopping Marshall or Royal. Maybe one but not both of them. And the Broncos defense can't get much worse, so if they add one more defensive player, they'll have a good enough defense, enough so the Offense doesn't have to carry them all game long. And i highly doubt that the Broncos will have the same amount of RBs on IR this time around.
Ok i agree with McDaniels in the development of Cutler. Cutler will definitely be better and probably won't throw as many interceptions. Not to mention he has weapons very similar to the ones that Brady and Cassel had in New England.
The weakness of the Raiders defense is there run D. The reason the Raiders defeated the Broncos was because of their pass D last year. The pass defense is one of the best once the Raiders got rid of Deangelo Hall. If Asomugha can come back or if the Raiders can sign another good CB like C-Mac or someone else to replace Asomugha for the time being they will be a top 10 pass defense still and will give the Broncos and Cutler plenty of problems.
I don't think those no name RB's will perform the same without Shanahan. Maybe be good but not enough to gash the Raiders like in years past.
I think both teams will split the series and compete for the second spot in that division behind the Chargers. It'll be close.
