You'll still get plenty of loot. I did the normal playthrough mostly solo. Only got help when I absolutely needed it(Diablo). Otherwise I was alone and still got plenty of the loots. Actually my stash is full(with 84 slots) with stuff that is getting sold on the Auction House. All from my solo playthrough.

I heard on the Bombcast that 70% of the loot is not available on the normal difficulty. The way to get real epic and rare loot is to play on the harder difficulties.

That's how D2 was. You could get decent items on the lower levels, but anything worth having late game would only drop on hell difficulty.

I haven't gotten much of anything really good yet through drops...I've decked out my character through the AH as much as I can. Hoping that continuing on in Nightmare will snare me some real good stuff.

Oh Baal runs how I remember spending hours doing those and back in the day if you did random runs you had to be quick on the drops.

Moving up to nightmare is a good deal harder. You also get better loot drops as the difficulty goes up. Hell should be even harder, and Inferno is probably damn near impossible.

For the most part yes. The story itself and main locations stay the same but the map will recreate different enemies constantly and will even change the world layout.

In the first two games the dungeons would randomize on each playthrough. Not sure on Diablo 3..

just got to act 3 NM all solo besides my templar so far.

finally selling sht on AH and bought some things. TBH at the start of NM it felt really hard but once u level up ur gear its like normal except for the mobs that have the arcane cannon or fucking mortars or the fucking volacanic sht. But i guess a monk is easier from all the healing spells i can use on top of the potions.

Man the key has to be AH bargain buying and also upgrading ur gems.

Finished the first playthrough on Normal completely Solo.. Only died once vs El Diablo.. Playing a little on my hardcore mode Demon Hunter. I forgot for a second that if I died it was permanent and took a few chances I shouldn't have.. Got really close a couple times.. Will be starting on my Nightmare difficulty run with the Barbarian tomorrow night.. Hopefully I don't get bored. I guess that's why they put awesome co-op in though..

I smiled when I seen him pop up.

There's a lot of references to D1 and D2 in this game and The butcher is from D1. He's your first "boss" you face in D1.
