Started off with an awesome demo of Uncharted 2, followed by a pretty decent onstage demo of MAG with 256 concurrent players.

They lightly touched on the PS2 and went onto the reveal of the PSP Go. There is a new Metal Gear coming out for the PSP exclusively that will help tie MGS3 to MGS1. Sony also talked about some other games coming out for the PSP but nothing really interested me.

Much like the 360, Sony decided to jump onto the motion control bandwagon, revealing their version of the WiiMote that works along side the EyeToy. Nothing really "wowed" me about it, though, other than how incredibly accurate the controller is. Essentially it's just another gimmick.

Other than that, it was mainly PS3 exclusives from there. Rockstar North is making a new game, called Agent, that's set in the '70s. Nothing else was said about that. They demoed God of War III on stage but I thought it was rather disappointing visually.

Plus, Final Fantasy XIV will be exclusive to the PS3, but much like FFXI, it's going to be an MMO.

Since then, haven't touched their games. 8 was the shit. Played through the whole thing and beat oh so long ago.

It was my favorite too. Easiest FF to pick up am play and the story was more modern than any of the other ones. Angelo the dog FTW!!!

Oh yeah the Doomtrain GF was the shit too.
 
Wow, GT5 is going to have NASCAR. Pretty interesting.

I missed most of the conference so I have to ask. What's with the inconsistencies here? It seems some people are saying that the GoW3 showing was unreal and actually looked better than Uncharted 2, and there are others that say that GoW3 was very underwhelming.

Wtf, I'm watching an interview with the producer of The Beatles RB and he just said that Abbey Road will be DLC when the game releases. What?!? Why isn't everything included? That's some bullshit.

It's really stupid for people that will buy the whole band kit for $200+.

Who here thinks that Project Natal will ever see the light of day? Anyone remember the annopuncement of Live Anywhere? And even if it does it's going to A) cost an ass load of money, B) probably not release until the next generation of consoles, C) not come close to what they showed at E3. I'm sure you'll be able to do some cool stuff, but it will be closer to what Sony was showing. At least the Sony tech uses the existing camera. That whole scanning the skate board bit was totally ridiculous. Apparently with Natal they are talking about requiring three separate cameras and another device? I can see the implementation with teh dashboard and stuff but the other stuff seems to be way out there. And Milo? GTFO. I never see that happening. I almost crashed on the way to work this morning because I was listening to the CAGcast and they were talking about the MS press conference. When they started talking about Milo Cheapy D immediately echoed what I said in that he thinks it looks like a pedo training device. He even joked by saying "Hey Milo, how are you today? Can you do me a favor and grab your ankles?" LMAO. But if they can pull that shit off then props to them. Although I doubt I'd ever use it.

Apparently I wasn't the only one that wasn't impressed by Alan Wake either. I thought maybe I saw a different video than everyone else on here. But most of the podcasters (Giant Bomb, IGN, Rebel FM, CAG) were all basically saying the same thing when they said it looked unimpressive and reminded them a ton of Silent Hill or Alone In the Dark.

Oh, yeah, the 1080p video thing...apparently you need at least a 8mb/sec connection speed? LOL. How many people actually have that? I know I live in the sticks and have basically a third world country internet company and I think I get 3MB? I can't imagine a majority of people have a connection that's 8MB or higher.

And wtf is Sony thinking charging $250 for the PSP Go!? Have they lost their minds? Haven't they learned anything from the pricing of the PS3? And does anyone know how they will be dealing with people that obviously already own UMD copies of games? Are they going to be able to download those games for free by prving ownership in some way?

7 is on PSN for 10 bucks? Holy shit. I lost my original copy of it and it cost a whopping 60 bucks at the local used video games store.

I still play Final Fantasy almost everyday. Not the newer ones though. Shit went downhill fast for me after 10. 12 was okay, but I definitely enjoyed just about every single previous game more.

Any of you ever play Final Fantasy Tactics? If not, check it out. It's a strategy RPG, you move your soldiers around on the battlefield like chess pieces. Sounds kind of corny but it truly is a great game. I've probably played 1000 hours worth of that game, easily.

What exactly did MS show that was so great? Please don't tell me it was Natal or Milo. Refer to my post last page on how that shit will probably never happen. And Alan Wake, allegedly MS's big 'ace in the hole' was very underwhelming. I think mediocre would describe it best.

At least Sony has God of War 3 and MAG on the way. MAG will probably redefine online gaming. Plus they have The Agency, which I still thin is flying under the radar. That game will help redefine MMO's on consoles.
