Don't call this too far fetched...there are players who have gotten into the HOF based, primarily, on postseason successes. Two game winning TD drives in Super Bowls look pretty good on a QBs resume.

Brady, Peyton Manning, Brees, Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Rodgers will all be in the National Football League Hall of Fame when it is all said and done.

When Eli won his first, I said he was one away. He has one of the most prolific seasons in NFL History to go with it. The man threw his team on his back twice to immortality. That's what greatness is made of.

I've thought he's a legitimate great quarterback and simply working on a resume to Canton...accomplishments like he has tonight are what put guys into Canton, not opinions without substance. For QBs, it is what just happened tonight. It is what separates the Ken Anderson's from the GOATs.

Yes we would, I made the thread before that :smug:

Winning or Losing Super Bowls is important in the resume of a quarterback...you can deny that simple fact or try and call it lazy and dated...but it is, what it is. Gronkowski missing that catch gives the man another ring and ultimately, the first thing that will be on the bust of Eli Manning will be 2x (or 3x or 4x, however many he may win) Super Bowl Champion. Its bullet point number one.

Tom Coughlin will coach the Giants literally for as long as he wants to, is able to (health wise).

Eli Manning is only 31-years old. He has at least 5 good years left.

Without question.

He took the Jacksonville Jaguars from non-existence to the playoffs and one of the best teams in the NFL in record time.

He then coached a two time Super Bowl champion team.
