Eli, for his admirable postseason heroics and great road wins, has also been part of multiple terrible late season collapses.
But yeah, we don't over glorify the last game of the year. Let's measure everything on rings, like some aging ex-player mailing it in with a fake smile behind a desk on CBS or NBC or ESPN.
I don't know if I think Eli should be a Hall of Famer, i'm mulling it but lean 'no', but what I do know is winning a second Super Bowl shouldn't make him a lock.
