First and foremost congrats Giants fans. Whenever a big play needs to be made they make every.single.fucking.one and earned the victory.

I want to vomit at how the entire Patriots squad minus Tom Brady collapsed in that fourth quarter. Welker's drop is just not acceptable when you see Manningham make a play that is 10x harder. How the fuck did the offensive line play phenomenally for 59 minutes, and then let the 4 man rush of the Giants get to Brady EVERY play on that final drive?

That play by Blackburn was unreal... thought it was the Patriots chance for some Tyree bullshit, but an injured Gronk and a phenomenal play by Blackburn negated that.

How is it only a five yard penalty in the final minute when a team has more than 11 men on the field? Just like there's a run off on offense for having a penalty in the final minutes, there needs to be a similar rule for defenses. Hypothetically, you could throw 15 men on the field, double team every WR and waste 10 seconds of the clock and all you have to give up is 5 yards?

It should be a 5 yard penalty plus resetting the play clock back to what it was prior to the play.

This is an excellent point, and something that should be addressed.

True going 64-16 (.800 win percentage) and making two Superbowls that come down to 3-4 points (just like their three wins did) with absolutely no defense proves they are awful post Spygate.

Well when you have different rules allowing you to mug wide receivers, have a top defense in the league, and have one of the best game managers in the NFL, things are a bit easier to win, no?

But surely, the fact that they keep winning and just happen to lose on final drives with absolutely NO defense means that all of their success is due to a camera. Makes sense. I'd call it more law of averages if anything. Sometimes you have luck, sometimes you don't.

Without predicting/assuming any additional post-season success, figure Eli has (give or take a year) 5 seasons of football in his prime left.

If he averages 4,000 yards passing and 30 TDs a season....he'll end up a top 6-8 all-time QB in passing yards and a top 10 all-time QB in passing TDs.

Now do you look at that and say well, he's just a stat compiler over a decade-plus long career?

Also, how about Ben Roethsliberger who is almost in the same exact category (multiple time SB winner, has good stats over time, but is behind Brady, Peyton, Brees and Rodgers in terms of the best QBs of his era)?

I read this on ESPN earlier, and I'll try to find a link tomorrow, but basically if Eli hits his season averages for the next 3 years he will be a top 15 QB of all time in every single statistical category and at least 2 Super Bowl Rings.

When it's all said and done, he will be a hall of famer (assuming he hits his career averages for the next 3 years).

Hate all you want, but Eli is an elite QB.
