Final year in Minnesota he was injury-plagued and half the games he was fit he was just on the field to be used as a decoy, but he still had 13 touchdowns (Which would be a career high for Holt), if that's Moss taking a year off he could do that anytime he wanted for my team.

Was typing this out until I saw you wrote it. Holt had 790 yards/3 td in 16 games this past year, while Moss' worst year was 550 yards/3 TD in 13 games.

I'll take the guy who was the best receiver in the league and most feared for most of the decade over the guy who was consistently great in a great system.

Now, forget consecutive....Moss had a TOTAL of 3 1300+ yard seasons, and 4 90+ catch seasons during the decade. Combined with his recent stretch of 4 out of 5 sub par (relative) seasons, how can anyone reasonably think Moss had a better decade?? Because he's "feared"? Weak sauce.

And again, Holt has more catches and yards over the course of the decade. It's very hard to make a cohesive, fair argument for Moss, the more you analyse the numbers.

Holt is the most consistent WR of the decade.. there is an argument to be made for Moss, but the people saying its a joke and such are crazy.. Holt is very deserving of making the All-Decade team.

I should apologize, I wasn't trying to say Holt wasn't even in Moss' class. I think Holt was at least the third best WR of the decade, and in terms of pure stats he could be called the best of the decade.

If you look at Holt's numbers from 2000-2008, it stacks up with any WR in history...including Rice. Alot of people don't realise this, but at one point, he was on pace to catch Rice in receptions and yards, but the last two seasons have derailed that. He figures to be a possession reciever from this point forward, but says he wants to play 6 more seasons. He'll probably finish up 2nd all time in catches and yards.
