A good way to evaluate talent is to... I duno... look at stats? Look at performances? If you're evaluating off All-Pro teams.. you're right, they arent the robots, you are. Whatever assumptions you make is your own business, I cant help if you're a complete moron and assume moronic things. Thats out of my hands.

I've never even said that Moss is more deserving than Holt...all I added to the conversation were their All-Pro tallies. I think that even the biggest moron (you) would admit that what Moss has over Holt is his claim as being the best WR in the NFL for a few years. I don't think there has ever been a time when people thought Holt was the very best WR in the NFL. I think the All-Pro selections indicate this. Holt has been very consistent and has always been a top 5 WR, and is conceivably the most deserving All-Decade WR.

Im saying to you that All-Pro is a shitty way to evaluate talent.. even while mis-reading the statement I made holds truth, and I pointed this out. Pro Bowls are an even worse way than All-Pro teams. If anyone is in a rage its you, the constant rage that I would imagine someone has when their head is permanently lodged into their anus.

Right, instead of looking at accomplishments and accolades such as All-Pro selections, we should refer to the "Bob Kuzzy Performance Rating".

Truth is pro-bowl voting would be a good place to start, but it's not the end all be all for judging best of the decade. And I'll agree also that the media is biased and does get it wrong sometimes. Hell Derrick Mason made it allpro above Holt in 2000. Mason had 895 yds and 5 TD's against Holts 1635 and 6 tds. FUCK THAT!

Mason made the All-Pro team as a kick returner in 2000. He led the NFL in all-purpose yards.

And you must really be fucking moronic if you cant figure out what a player performance is.. you know.. when a player goes out and performs week in and week out.. that'd be a player performance. Evaluating real stats, or even real championships if thats your preference, are much more solid ways of evaluating talent than awards given out by writers. That doesnt fully discredit you if you're an All-Pro, but its also not a great talent evaluator, as they're picked by people with bias and opinion. Numbers > opinions. Simply not arguable, altho im sure you'll argue it till your blue in the face.

Wait...you said you would evaluate players by statistics AND player performance instead of All-Pro selections, so I assumed statistics was different than the vague 'player performance'. My bad. LaRoi Glover? Glover was basically Sapp only not double teamed nearly as much and didn't have the sack numbers, which would have been better had he not played out of place in the 3-4 for a minute in Oakland. I live in the St. Louis market and Glover sucked in the run game every bit as much as Sapp in Oakland. Whatever he was much better than Sapp in, I must have missed it. He had a whole 4 more sacks while playing 23 more games this decade.
