expect the computer AI to be toned down a bit too. I've read tons of complaints on the defensive abilities on the CPU. ( i.e. as soon as you get the ball, you are closed down quick from all sides, forwards who are even minimally defensive can defend as well as good defenders) Many are also complaining that fast players like Ronaldo, etc., don't have any advantage at outpacing average players. I have to agree that I even noticed this in the demo.

While I agree that elite players don't have as big as advantage as they should, I must say that whenever I use or play against Ronaldo he absolutely dominates and is clearly a different class.
Just switch to all manual controls on WC and loving it. I have played every game so far and the all manual is very refreshing.
I have the final in the Coppa Nazionale against Juventus and about 7 games in Serie A. I currently sit 3rd behind Inter and Roma. Points are 71, 70, 66. Anyone know how playoffs are done for Serie A? I just want to make sure I have a shot to win.
My winter transfers I brought in Juan from Roma and Gomez a GK from I don't know where. I don't know how far I will continue with the Milan thing, but right now I am thinking after the patch I do a Athletico Madrid one or a MLS team.

Well I won the Coppa Nazionale in thrilling fashion. One of the few games I can say I was dominated in. I was having trouble getting my scoring chances and kept missing open guys cause of my "new"ness to manual controls. Then they started pouring on shots and corners. They put one in on a corner at like 58 minutes. They had 7 shots on target at this point with 5 corners. I had 3 and none respectively.
I start pressing big time but can't break free at all. I send a couple shots way wide and miss a few crosses again because of manual controls and I start getting really frustrated. Nevertheless at the 78th minute I get a free kick from 26 yards out and Ibra bends it right next to the defenders neck and Buffon tips it in. I played for extra time after this.
Then as soon as extra time starts I get in this huge tackle battle with possession changing back and forth. Boateng steals it away and passes up to Ibra and I see my sub Abate moving in from the wing. I put a perfect pass through the defensive line who was staggered from the tackle battle before and Abate rockets a shot right into the top corner. Felt very good on manual. I played defensive the rest of the way and won.

Is there any way to stop the game from forcing your players to move? Like if an opponent and me are chasing after a ball and I know I'm not gonna get there first it still forces my dude to waste energy running over there.

Settings. There you can switch when you want them to auto switch or turn it off completely.

As for my MM. I finished 3rd in Serie A, Inter and Roma ahead of me. So despite winning the Coppa Nazionale, I got fired :/.
Instead of sticking with it and playing as Roma, who offered me their job, I am gonna start a new one. I was thinking either NY Red Bulls or LA Galaxy to dominate the MLS but I really enjoy learning more about European soccer. So I am thinking either Atletico Madrid to ball with Forlan or I want to try a mid team in the EPL. I was thinking Sunderland,Tottenham,Arsenal, or Aston Villa.

Isn't there a way to change that? I'll drive all the way downfield and shoot and the goalie dives to the ground to knock it right back into the field of play. It'll be wide open for a easy score but I look and none of my teammates are anywhere to be found.

I strongly recommend Atletico Madrid. I tried Man City at first on FIFA 10, but just couldn't get into it for more than a few days at a time. Then I started a new one with Atletico and had a ton of fun and ran multiple seasons. They are a great squad to use, lots of talent, but they have enough weaknesses and room for growth that you still feel like it's a challenge.
You do play some clownhouse clubs in La Liga though. Some at the bottom of the league are really bad.
