Those are usually my only two purchases year round anyway so I'm just gonna get FIFA in addition to keeping NCAA. FIFA is that one game that I can just sit back and zone out while playing for hours and hours. It's a great intoxicated game.

Anyway, bout to fire up the demo download. Off all day tomorrow so I plan on playing it quite a bit.

Since I bit the bullet and ended up getting the EA Sports Season Ticket for Madden, FIFA was the next game I was looking forward to the most. Can't wait to get it the Friday before.

although, I did run into some new things. Quick throw ins, and if a guy is injured on the field, the ref will stop play and do a drop ball.

My defenders are retarded. Not the guy I'm controlling but the CPU players. They leave guys unmarked all over the box. Also on offense, nice to see the CPU still refuses to make decent runs. I was holding the ball up in the middle about 30 yards from goal with RVP and everyone just stood in their spot, no one made an effort to get open.

I'm going to pass on this game barring ridiculously amazing improvements to manager mode. I still play Fifa 11 occasionally and I like that better as of now. I just can't get over how dumb the CPU players on offense and defense are. Of course the actual CPU opponent's players are always in perfect position and make great runs.

The CPU is like North Korea playing Brazil on defense. Literally everyone is double teamed.

I though u can make the CPU make runs with a trigger? I read somewhere that by doing this they make their runs, and make the correct runs.

I thought the game played and looked smoother. First game was 0-0, second game i lost 3-2 and the third game i won 3-1.

I don't know if they fixed passing this year but I am loving the thru balls this year. They seem to be much smarter and doing a lobbed thru isn't the only way to put the ball past a defender anymore.

I am finding it harder to get the ball to outside when attacking when it has been easy last year. I am finding it easier to get the ball in the middle when last year I couldn't even get the ball in the middle for one possession.

It's nice to actually have room to dribble the ball, and not having defenders rush you.

Defense is hard and my patented strategy of sprinting right down the middle and shooting doesn't work anymore.

I've been terrible at this demo. The computer defense doesn't do anything to help me. The computer gives you absolutely no help whatsoever. They just stand around when I have the ball and don't make any runs even when I press LB to make them do runs. I'll most definitely be making a pass on this game.
