Reminds me of Dave's name change/avatar change thread, as well as reinforcement in general.

Every year, it's the same "oh, we hate Madden because of Points A/B/C and they never fix it and I'll probably buy it anyway because all my friends are too, BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" bullshit.

Each thread related to EA's "masterpiece" gives them pub, regardless.

Even if the game's a trainwreck, there will be people to buy it based on brand familiarity or because they want to see what everybody's bitching about firsthand.

I think he was being sarcastic because there is a very good chance there won't be a football season this year. So how can they just update the rosters? Besides adding rookies that is.

I understand the sentiment, but I play the game enough to make it worth more than a rental.
