Downloaded it this morning. Haven't started up a save yet, since I'm anal about getting logos/player faces in the game, so I'm waiting for all that to copy over from my FM12 files. I really want this FM to be the one where I can finally get a legit long term save going. Preferably, starting with a lower league team and working my up, using my own tactics rather than someone else's.

I've started a few saves but I'm going to wait until the full game releases. Too many bugs and I'll probably use someone's edit on Newcastle rather than what's there. I hated setting up training, but I kind of liked it more than this years setup, it was at least a bit more in depth. Overall looks promising though.

Anyway, I'm messing around with a Fulham save for now 'til the real game comes out. Going with a basic 4-2-4 (wingers of course).

Quick overview of my formation (tried to tailor it to Fulham rather than just making a formation then adapting)

Made a couple player instructions tweaks, but nothing too major (just adjusting long shots, and set both wingers to move into channels and to attempt through balls often)

Fulham's a pretty slow side for the most part so I've decided to focus play to the middle of the pitch, encouraging both wingers to move into channels. I didn't want to set them to inside forwards though, as I do want them to have the option to play out wide. I also am electing to play a physical brand of football as I think we have the personnel for it.

Should be fun.

I am playing with York. Have Craig Sutherland on loan from Blackpool and he is fucking fast. I am going Route 1, play to the wings and hit long balls over the top to Craig. A bit different from my usual style, but interested to see. In friendlies he has been unstoppable so far

Fulham's got very little cover at CB too. Yuck.

And now Petric out for 3 months. One tweak to the formation as a result: STL is now a DLF on support with Rodallega there. Target man removed in team instructions.

- Fixed bug where keeper would not prevent team mate's poor control from becoming an own goal

- Fixed AI teams not always setting one central midfielder to a defensive duty

- Some ball physics collision fixes including the "hole in the net"

- Fixed some instances of keepers saving ball prematurely and getting little purchase on save
- Fixed a few bugs causing keepers not to attempt saves when they should do
- Fixed keepers making risky quick throws or passes to team mates
- Further fix for defending crosses
- Slight tweak to speed of longer passes
- Fixed wrong team getting throw/corner/goal kick after tackle sends ball out of play
- Toned down long shots taken on weak foot slightly

- Sorted out problem with "ghost goal" fix and re-activated it

Why does this game give me trouble every time I download it? I downloaded it and went and erased those Inc files that locked out hte German team and now it won't let me start the game up because of "corrupt game files". Da fuk?

Under interface in your preferences make sure use cache to decrease times is unchecked and reload skin is checked, confused me for ages too.

I've had it like that already and the logos weren't showing up. So I deleted all the logos and the default ones won't show up now.
