What I just did to Everton can only be defined as rape. We scored 3 goals in the first 30 minutes, Meireles gets sent off, then we score 3 more and win 6-0. They also committed 23 fouls, dirty bastards.
 
St Etienne has found a groove behind the goal scoring prowess of Argentine international Gonzalo Bergisso. 7 wins in the last 8, 5 shutouts in those wins, and up to sixth in the table.

My narrow 4-4-2 diamond is making the most out of all the central midfield talent I have, but is wasting my one winger. He may be sold if I fully buy in to this set up.

A safe midtable position should be pretty straightforward, as long as I can avoid injuries

Oh, and Boubacar Sanogo is the most worthless piece of shit ever. £27k/week for shit all. Wish I could just terminate his contract
 
Just got raped by Monaco. 4-0 down within 13 minutes. Holy shit

5-2 finish. My guys had chances, but couldn't bury them. Never really been on the blunt end of that kind of beat down
 
Yea, I'm having problems with Van Persie. When he is healthy, he doesn't finish. Numerous times Dzeko has set him up for a score and that faggot blasts wide or over, when all he has to do is tap it in.

Signed Adem Ljajic as my first signing, £12.5 mil from Fiorentina. That's half the budget, hoping to get a full back and perhaps another striker with the other half.

Also sent Maxi to Bayern on loan (£4.5 mil option to buy), because he is hot garbage
 
Anyone know why this 15 year old Brazilian I signed won't be joining my team for 2 years? I chose immediate for the transfer date. Is their some sort of odd rule I don't know about?
 
January's over and I've stayed top four, somehow. Made a lot of moves. Sold Kramaric, Kiko, and Defour. Got Arteta in on loan, Forlan for cheap, Alex Texeria for 7mil. Gibbs and some Finnish fullback in as well. Pretty much all of them are temporary replacements until Enrique, Kadar, and Weiss are back. My team is nothing without Weiss.

By Defour, do you mean Steven Defour? I got rid of him in my game as well after only one year. He never did anything at all, he was just kind of there.
 
Yup, him. Same thing here, I've had him in past games and he was great. He was my backup, so he didn't play too often, but when he did nothing ever happened. Scored his first goal in his last game.
 
Yeah, Defour's actually deceptively bad compared to how he looks on first glance. Lots of high mental attributes, but he's pretty slow, weak, poor at finishing, and no aerial or defensive ability. Basically a one dimensional playmaker type. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that, if you have a role that suits that type of player in your formation.

I'm thinking he'd be pretty solid in the 4-3-1-2 formation I run with Palermo as the advanced playmaker-support.

To quote the game:

"The advanced playmaker aims to drop into holes between the opposition's midfield and defence, making himself available for teammates' passes and aiming to turn defence into attack in an instant. With a support duty, the AP will stay in the hole and look to spray passes to support players and forwards."

With his mental attributes/passing ability, I feel like he'd thrive in that role.

Nah, Carragher and Gerrard will have roles for life (or until I get bored of this save). The clubs history is impressive, and deserves the admiration it gets. I just enjoy giving the Red fans a windup because Gerrard and Carragher are two of the biggest tossers in the Prem

I've always wanted to build a tactic around Torres, but never had the chance. So I think it should be a fun game. Think I might through 20 mil at Suarez in the game as he would help at right wing and as a second strike, just like IRL
 
Eden Hazard just stepped up big time for me. In my round of 16 CL match against Genoa first leg was away, we lost 3-1. I was shocked we lost because we were favored and were on a roll.

So now I need to get at least two goals to advance and Hazard gets both of them in the first half. We added three more in the second to win 5-0, but still, Hazard was probably the last guy I would've picked to step up. He's earning the number 7 shirt I gave him.
