Now I can't get into my current Liverpool save. Unfortunately I can't get this user update I downloaded to work, it wont' appear in my Editor's file when I try to load it.

Any idea when the official update comes out?

Football Manager 2011 Patch 11.3: the last planned patch, planned for release sometime in March. It will bring the game to a “perfect” stage fixing all the remaining bugs and it will also feature all the transfers from the Winter period. Usually, the .3 patch of any FM game is considered the best version.

Signed Hulk for 18 million pounds, some of it over 48 months, and Ryan Shawcross for 12.5 million pounds, also some of it over 48 months. Going to stick with my 4-2-4 formation although I'm not sure if I'll have Suarez or Hulk up top. Both can play up top or as an AM-L.

I'm thinking about doing a save with a smaller Premier League team now until the patch comes out if I can't get into the one I've got. I might actually be Newcastle just so I can try and manage without having a striker already on my team.

Gerrard and Torres are on a great run of form, combining together at the front of my attack. Gerrard has 11 goals in 13 games, Torres has 10 in 12.

Cani has 9 assists in 11 games

I'm attempting to make Martin Kelly better in the editor and I'm failing miserably. I've edited his attributes into what I think they should be yet it doesn't appear in the game. I just upped his CA, so hopefully that works.

edit- Yup CA was the problem. All good now so I'm restarting my save so I can use Kelly at RB and not have him suck horribly.

Editing the attributes doesn't work. Because if they add up to more than his CA or PA they'll just drop right back down.

If you up his CA and not his PA then his attributes won't be any different (if I read the forums correctly). You have to edit both his CA and PA, then edit his attributes. Hopefully he gets a boost with the new patch.

Yeah I did the PA and CA and it worked.

Going to play a straight up 4-4-2 now. I've got Aurelio on as left mid so we'll see where that goes. I'd like to bring a legit outside midfielder like Stewart Downing if I can because I'm going to use Kuyt as a back up striker.

Signed Charlie Adam for 7.5 million pounds and thats all the business I'll be doing. Actually, John Arne Riise may be making a return to Anfield.

Decided against getting Arne Riise. Roma want 14 million pounds for him and I want to save some of my budget in case I need to do an emergency buy in January.
