8 games to go in the Serie A season and we're sitting in 3rd in the table, a mere 2 points behind both Juventus and Inter who have 65 points each to our 63. We have 17 wins, 12 draws, and 1 loss.
Our run out is as follows:
Home vs. Fiorentina (6th, 16 wins, 3 draws, 11 losses)
@ Udinese (10th, 13 wins, 2 draws, 14 losses)
Home vs. Brescia (18th, 5 wins, 9 draws, 16 losses)
@ Lazio (13th, 6 wins, 14 draws, 10 losses)
Home vs. Genoa (12th, 10 wins, 7 draws, 13 losses)
@ A.C. Milan (4th, 19 wins, 6 draws, 5 losses)
Home vs. Catania (11th, 11 wins, 7 draws, 12 losses)
@ Parma (19th, 5 wins, 6 draws, 19 losses)
Relatively easy run out with a couple landmines @ Lazio and Udinese. Fiorentina at home won't be easy either, and obviously Milan is going to be the biggest game of them all. The first 3 will be played without Nocerino, which really stings, as he picked up a 3 match ban for being given a straight red.
In the Europa League, we've made it to the Quarterfinals where we've been drawn against FC Twente. Winner gets the winner of Juventus-Leverkusen.
All-in-all, a relatively successful campaign thus far, but there's still plenty of time for it to all go to waste if we're complacent.
