No, all it proves is the quality of play in league is low. 3 rookie QBs in 2 seasons doing that well means low quality parity play in the league. again- it is due to parity ie starting guys that are still too young or starting guys who havent been in your teams system so nothing is consistant or perfected over time. just a bunch of free agents running around trying to learn new systems. so the quality of play is lower. Another reason why teams can win purely on defense. No offenses are together enough to be consistant. I am not saying sanchez cant or will never be good. But rating anyone that good in a weak parity era doesnt hold water for me- so to speak.

no, you see, due to the league wide parity this is good enough to do that well with a rookie QB. The Jets are one of the better teams right now in a not so good league. Defenses are winning games for teams because most team offenses arent that cohesive and are interchanged too often.

Rex Grossman was the beginning example of parity helping teams succeed where they shouldnt- he wasnt a great QB by any means

Nope, I used all 11 players. I don't feel like retyping every single team I wrote, so here is the few that I still have. (Steelers got deleted somehow)

none of this disproves that teams are generally of a weaker quality. So, some teams will have success. The Steelers,Patriots and Colts are basically the only teams that get players to be motivated by a winning philosophy for prolonged periods of time. It really doesnt matter what the Browns do because the front office is so clueless that they cant buy a winner. The jets so far are just this years parity lottery winner so to speak.

there are many factors. A few teams have been able to keep pushing forward. but for the most part,parity keeps everyone fragmented. teams are winning based on momentary talent but not long term practiced execution.

this has nothing to do with philosophy. it is deductive reasoning. Parity and free agency means league wide mediocrity. Players are starting too young before learning systems and players move around so most teams dont have cohesive units.

I never said he was best ever. He was by no means mediocre.
I never said level of players is weaker. I said no cohesive units translate to not a high qualiity of execution. So, youll get rookie QBs doing better than they would be in a more competative league. Parity means weakness all the way around, not strength.

manning and brady are great QBs but their stats are bloated due to weaker competion and rules that favor the passing game.
