A+ Finale.

Slightly predictable, but they displayed such great acting, camera work, and cinematography, the tension built up was insane.

One of the best seasons of television you will ever see. Elite level TV.

I love it, she's been correct the entire way...but she's a crazy cunt, so, no one believes her...but ol bitch knows.

I think what happens with Carrie's character is going to be intriguing.

Very easy to just write her off...her getting the electro-shock treatment and "losing her memory" is an easy "get out of character" free card. But ol girl should win a damn Golden Globe for her work. If the final two episodes are what they submit to the board for review, it should win easily. Beast mode in the final two eps for Danes.

I highly doubt the writers write her out either. She was one of the central characters to this show. Plus she remembered Brody screaming Isa's name in the middle of the night, which kind of sets her up for next season.

My guess is they'll get another season out of the memory loss, with Carrie remembering late/the end of season 2 about the Isa/Brody connection. But who the hell knows. I'm impressed with how they handled the season because the one thing I was worried about (the possibility of a season 2 at all) now is wide open with a lot of different options.

Was annoyed that it didn't go off and destroy that douche vice president and the rest of the assholes that thought 80 kids are acceptable collateral damage.. I hate the daughter and can't stand looking at Claire Danes without makeup.. They all need to die..

Most of the people in that room were in the room when he gave the order. There were at least 5 or 6 that Brodie actually spoke with in the bunker scenes.

So I don't believe killing 20-30 people for what 3 or 4 did wrong is a good thing. But those same people thought it would be perfectly fine to kill 80 kids in an attempt to get one guy. So what Brodie was going to do is actually not as bad as what they did.... :shifty:

FUCK THE ENDING OF SEASON 1! Im so fucking mad right now. Gonna take forever for a new season :alone: I knocked it out in a week and a half, didnt know the show was so good but the ending just leaves you :rage:ing like come the fuck on, I wanna see whats gonna happen.

I fully expect it to come out at some time that Abu-Nazir was fully complicit in Issa's death.

This is what I thought after watching the episode with Issa in it. I figured Issa wasn't even his kid, just some kid he put in with Brody to bond with, and then intentionally have the Americans kill him in order to turn Brody.


Anyways, I finished the season. Still not a big fan. Carrie was just annoying in my opinion. Saul and Virgil were my favorite characters.

What the fuck happened with the potential mole subplot? They just forgot about that. Pisses me off.


Also some really nit picky stuff, but the scene in the woods where the hunter ran into Walker really pissed me off. First of all Walker was sighting in his rifle from about twenty yards, what the fuck is that! He's preparing for some sort of magnificent mile long kill shot, and yet we're supposed to buy that he sighted the gun in from that short of a distance? Bull shit. Secondly, what kind of dumb ass hunter walks around with no bullets in his gun? That was a really stupid plot hole.

As a fan of Firefly, this show and the abundance of her boobies was a wet dream come true for me.

Either he fed the CIA the information that he was operating in that area knowing they would hit it or at the very least he had knowledge of the attack and didn't clear the school in order to manipulate Brody later on.

I think this information will likely lead to Brody's next test of conscience on the show.

That makes a lot of sense. You'll still have Brody made at the CIA and the VP for knowingly bombing an area with kids, but also pissed at Nazir for allowing it to happen. So he'd pretty much be against both sides at that point.

i finished the show that has brody flashing back to his time teaching isa and what led him to turn. Seems kind of thin to me. I understand if he was tortured for 5 years and then loving the main terrorist guy after years of brainwashing and his kindness and what not.

but the son? it would have been nice to see a more fleshed out story behind the bond he shared with isa. They gave you a great understanding of why he would love the terrorist, but didnt do a very good job of convincing me that he is going to turn based on the bombing of the school

its not that i think its a bad bit of writing, but up to then, everything has been excellent and this seems very thin

i should finish up the series tonight
