finished the season last night. i wasnt impressed with the finale at all. the took the main character and turned her into a complete psycho. the 1st 3 shows in season 2 will be her trying to convince everyone she isnt crazy. then trying to convince everyone about brody...again. that story wore out after 3 shows this year. There other choice would be the memory loss. but that is weak sauce imo. how convieniant that she remembered that critical piece of info right as she is about to get her brain zapped. lame

then brody. :smh: another weak twist by getting that last second phone call from his kid to stop him. And my god, these people couldnt think of the idea to have him get closer to the VP 5 shows ago? that was the first thought i had when they first came up with the idea to have him run for congress. but instead they had this drawn out plot to kill a group of people

the plot itself is full of holes too. the plot was in place way back when that couple bought the house even though it wasnt fully revealed until later on. But you still know that the plan was to have the diversion plan with the sniper, while brody gets close with the suicide bomb. How in the fuck did they know he could even get close or even be in a position to make that happen. Thats one thing i hate about suspenseful shows. They reveal things that open up major holes in the plot.

btw, what happened with the mole? the lie detector tests that had saul getting the razor question wrong and carrie's illegal drug question wrong? plus didnt estes ask that young CIA guy to spy on carrie to find out what she was up to. None of that stuff was ever followed up on.

overall i enjoyed the show alot. shows 1-8 were fantastic which is why i was so dam disappointed in shows 9-12

as Maynard said, it isn't technically epic, but it is a pretty damn good show especially if youre into this kind of stuff. Cant wait for Season 2.

Only watched this series for the first time Monday. Watched 6 episodes of season 1 (bought it on Xbox Live). Wow. I missed out. What a great series. Won't be returning to this thread until I've caught up. Don't want spoilers.

It may have been corny at first, Brody getting the call from his daughter but that scene ended up being one of the more emotional, drama-rich turns in a long time. Plus, the way it was shot with Brody's mind going a mile a minute was tremendous.

Sure, it takes a leap of faith in terms of believability....that the terrorist would count on the returning American hero being brought straight into politics by the VP.

Just watched the first episode of the second season, nice groundwork for the rest of the season.

Brody's wife is completely unlikable at the start of season 2, btw. Danes and Lewis are awesome.

With it being such a circus, I wonder how Claire was able to set up cameras in Brody's house without being noticed. Her partner said they had a 30 minute window from the time his wife left to the time he would return, but you gotta figure the neighbors and reporters were camped out longer than that.
