No need to justify if I was a fan or not to you. Season-Ticket holder prior to the Sam Wyche era with Richard Williamson in Tampa Stadium aka Houlihan's Stadium in it's final years.
You are right, you do not have to justify anything but you made it loud and clear that you are not a Bucs fan. How did the conversation go?

Waddup Leaf? You warming up to Rah yet? How you feel about what you have seen thus far?
Not drinking the kool-aid. 17-53 combined record of opponents we beat. 22-8 combined record of opponents we lost to. Doesn't matter to me though. Wherever Gruden goes is where I'll be anyway.
Thanks for clarifying things. You arent a Bucs fan but a Gruden groupie. 3-13 last season, 7-3 this season. I dont care who we have beaten as long as they are NFL teams and we are growing. We wouldnt have won any of these close games last season. Maybe Gruden can take someone elses team on the cusp to the promise land again. Dallas anyone?
What did Gruden do for our offense during his tenure? Nothing. Monte held up to his side of the deal while the offense was stagnant.
Doesnt sound like you are a fan to me. You dont have to support the owners, support the coaches and players, not the Owners.
It has nothing to do with kissing Gruden's ass. It has everything to do with how it all went down and how they fucked Gruden over. Gruden was the best thing to happen to the franchise and he had little to work with, money-wise, after the Super Bowl thanks to the maxed out deals that Rich McKay worked out.
LOL @ best thing to happen to the franchise. He did nothing for this offense for years. It was stressful watching us from week to week knowing if we went down by 10 points we would surely lose.
Raheem managed to make huge strides this year with the youngest team in the league and the lowest payroll so excuse me if I dont have any sympathy for a high profile, overpaid coach who did absolutely nothing for the future of this franchise.
Hell, Gruden went 9-7 with almost the same team that Raheem went 3-13 with.
Laughable. Almost the same team? You cant be serious.
Also, Gruden brought in 22 new players during the Super Bowl season. It was hardly "Dungy's team." Plus, who do we define as Dungy's players? Sapp, Brooks and Lynch were all drafted by Sam Wyche. The cornerstones of that defense were not even his draft choices. If we are going to compare poor scouting look at guys like Al Harris who Dungy released and went on to have successful careers as well.
They all became Dungy players. He and Monte molded that defense and made it what it was. Gruden inherited a ready made contender. Only thing the offense had to do was not throw the game away.
He and Bruce Allen did absolutely nothing to help this team in the long run after winning the SB. Our drafts were terrible aside from a handful of players. Raheem has done more in 2 off seasons than Gruden has done his entire tenure to help this team moving forward.
The Glazers did Gruden wrong and they did it in a classless way, same way they did Dungy when they fired him. His pass-key to One Buc was already void when he went to go pack his things up.
I have no opinion on how they handled the situation, I do not know the details behind it but I do know that him being fired was the right choice.
As I said before, FUCK 'EM.
And fuck Raheem & Freeman for what again? Pretty Odd.
Freeman playing 10 teams with losing records doesn't hurt. (I'd take Freeman too, but it's retarded how his season is being over hyped based solely on number padding vs. shit opponents.)
So Matt Ryan padded his stats vs shit opponents as well, right? 12/14 games the Falcons players were against the exact same teams as the Bucs. The fuck are you talking about?
BB may be getting raped, but my posts are all factual (or based in fact) so I don't know how that equates to me being included in the anal spelunking...
Not at all. This is factual...... Freeman is a much better QB than Sanchez. Thats the only thing that matters.
The Jets do not trust Sanchez enough to let him manage a game. He plays for good field position and not to lose the game. Hopefully the D can make up for the lack of Offense. Yes he has 4 road playoff victories but we can attribute that to good D and Special Teams. He has a lot of weapons with Holmes Edwards and Keller... Cotchery comes up Big as well, but the Jets take the ball out of his hands with a simple game plan.
Freeman on the other hand.... Game changer, playmaker, Big arm, Big body, Mobile, he is one year away from making the splash... He will grow and mature with Mike Williams, the WR from Illinois and Blount.... Winslow will give him atleast two good years of service...
Noob of the year dropping knowledge.
