kicking needs to be cpu controlled!

I've missed more kicks on the Madden 10 demo than I have in the last ten years combined in any other Madden.

If you can consistently hit 50 yarders this year with a turd like Suisam, I'll let you suck da truf chaser's dick.

Your idea wouldn't be the best option to handle kickers. Whatever they did last year is their rating? Suisham was 72% in 2008, but he was 82% in 2009. How do you handle drop-offs like that or new kickers?

Ya and what about rookie kickers who EA will have no statistics to look upon?
Kickers should be manually used

I always thought they should change the camera angle all the time for kickers that suck, like one time it's directly behind him, then it's behind the holder, then it's up in the corner, etc.. and good kickers always get the same camera angle. Or maybe mess up the speed of the meter a small bit for the worse kickers.

It's a stupid little wrinkle but I bet you'd miss a lot more field goals.

I think a good system would be on make the arrow move, the worse the kicker the faster it moves. A great kicker or clutch, it wouldnt move at all

i like the 2k reference going for a 50 on all pro was def a challenge and not a walk in the park

Yeah I agree, I think they had that on NFL Fever and I think they could make it work pretty good on madden.

I honestly think the should bring back the old meter (double-tap "X" for kick strength and accuracy) with the meter itself moving quicker as you progress through game difficulty.

Basically, for those who run 'Chises and Leagues that practice this sort of thing it would be a breeze.

For casual players, it would be a reason to learn and get better at at least one aspect of the game.

ADDENDUM: I'm referencing the use of the thumbstick (R3?) to kick the ball on PS2... no real prior knowledge of next-gen here...
