Just finished Slip of the Tongue with 4/5 stars.

 

I missed one of the questions while interrogating the car thief. I somehow missed the Jean suspect at the Western Union because I first decided to hoof it and changed my mind and went back to get my car. Then I missed the question with the guy at the Industrial St. warehouse which I know would've branched off more.

I missed a few trophies so I need to replay it anyway.

I didn't need to install? Weird. I downloaded them (and they did take forever) but as soon as I went into the game and went to "Cases" they were located in the appropriate file folders.

i DL them while in game...did you DL from the XMB? i was searching and even googled to see where the cases were in the game. after i shut off the game i saw them sitting on the game list and both needed to be installed.

maybe it was different if u DL them from the XMB

I downloaded them from the store. I did use the 'Turn off the console when downloads are done' option and went to bed. Maybe it's because I have PS+ the downloads install automatically? Because now that you mention it I can't remember the last time I needed to install any downloaded content.

I swear this game is mocking me. After spending HOURS looking for that final shitty small panel van they are fucking EVERYWHERE in the Naked City DLC case. It's actually a bit ridiculous. Half the cars on the streets are those things.

Just beat it, it was a decent purchase, something new is always welcome.

On a side note, I just found out the man who plays Jack Kelso was in Friday Night Lights season 5. I had noticed he looked like him but just now looked it up

Yeah, there are so many notable actors in the game. Hell, A Slip of the Tongue, which was just DLC, had Kurt Fuller. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0298281/
I remember him best as Jack Hardemeyer from Ghostbusters.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game. It was also nice to see something new. The actors and acting was top notch. The facial technology was amazing. The authenticity of the time period was spot on. The size, scope and detail of the city was amazing.

It is all about expectations. I play Bulletstorm thinking it would be alright and so it blew me away. Its not the best FPS but its definitely in my top 10. As for LA Noire, I played it thinking it was going to be one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life. We now how that turned out. The story felt like a giant mess, the detective parts after 2-3 cases went rinse and repeat for the rest of the game, and side missions had to be one of the laziest parts of the game.

If they do a sequel I'll still be there to buy it, but I really hope they do a better job of mixing action gameplay with interrogation. Too much of just one them would make the game too dull.

They are the locations of the police badges. There's some kind of 'challenge' where you have to find all of them, it's just another stupid collector task. You get your guy experience by getting them though. Anyways, this game won't win GoTY. 'Rockstar Games Presents' hyped this game so much but it didn't live up to the hype in my opinion.

The same could be said of the Saints Row and Assassin's Creed titles after their first game. If Volition and Ubisoft Montreal can learn, Rockstar Games should be able to as well.

I just started playing last night, and am already on Disc 2. I am just going through the main cases now, with no side missions or anything. Though I am pretty much agreeing with your statements right now, but I still think the game is pretty damn good.

yeah i am taking it back. gamestop is offering an extra 50% trade value on all trades. getting rid of this and DA2. Neither were finished and both were major let downs.

You'll definitely enjoy Crysis 2. What system did you get it for? If you got it for Xbox, I'll see if my friend finished it so I can finally start playing online.
