You can't blame the user for EA being fucking lazy. Now if the user is spending actual money for cards and that bullshit mode then I totally agree with you.

one thing i think they got right is this dynamic player thing. in the tutorial it talks about how elite players like brady, rogers and manning will always play at an elite level because thats their skill set.

But players who are less consistant like McCoy, Stafford and Freeman will different in each game. Sometimes good and sometimes bad depending on how the game goes.

Whats nice about this is it seems to eleiminate the robo QB of the past and keeps a QB more level for that specific game and not just turning it on at specific times in the game.

this applies to all positions, but i mention QB because of the past games robo QB issues offline

I couldnt' take the audio popping and the crappy fields with the PS3 version so I went out and bought it for 360. First time I've played my 360 in 2 years.

I will say this, I have just a minor slider adjustment and this game is actually pretty freaking good.

I have knocked Madden for years because so much pissed me off.

I can't find anything that bothers me , besides players stretching their legs all the time LOL

But for gameplay, its awesome and its beautiful on 360

Yeah, I'm going to have to start my 'chise over because the Bears made some key cuts and signings this week.

So if I decide to save draft classes from NCAA and select to load a draft class at the beginning of the my Madden 'chise, will it just be for scouting purposes? That would make sense.

So has anyone been disconnected from an online game with the message "You have been removed from the game due to a network timeout"?

My cousin and I started a game and everything was going great for almost a half and then I get that message. He said he got a message saying something along the lines of there being tampering.

Then we play a second game and no problems.

He hosted the first two.

Then I invite him and again in the second quarter, in the middle of Knox returning a kick, it happens again.

Played one pre-season game @ Atlanta. We lost 20-19, after having a 19-7 lead going into the 4th quarter. A few observations and notes:

- I really like the expanded roster. It appears that it was implemented well. I actually feel like performance matters in the games due to the dynamic performance feature.

- I notice myself watching individual players that have caught my eye.

- I like that my starters came out after the 1st quarter automatically and the 3rd stringers began the 2nd half.

Game Notes:

- I love my running game. Bush, Thomas, Johnson and Hilliard all got touches and all were able to grind out positive yards. I won't keep them all, but, it will be hard to cut any of them. Thomas/Johnson were the most impressive of the bunch.

- Pat Devlin (QB) worked with the 3rd team offense and has moved himself into the 2nd team role right now. Matt Moore (QB) will work with the 3rd team in the second pre-season game against Carolina.

- Formerly known as "Edmond", now known as "Clyde" Gates was also impressive. He had 4 catches for 53 yards and fought for 2 passes in the back corner of the end zone, but, didn't come up with them.

- Brandon Marshall had 2 catches in his short time on the field and I can see him racking up over 100 receptions this season. He's just so good in his route running and after the catch.

- Soliai has the NT spot locked up (obviously), but, the backup spot is still up in the air. Ronald Fields is currently the front-runner, but, Frank Kearse looked good. Who DIDN'T look good? Navarhi Hidalgo. He was getting pushed all around the field and couldn't even hold his ground on a single play.

- Jared Odrick looked really good at DE and AJ Edds played really well as well.

- Jason Taylor looked old. I haven't even looked at his ratings, but, he was pure garbage when he was on the field. He may not make the team.

- I will eval Devlin even more closely against Carolina. I'm going to give him more of a opportunity to put the ball in the air. He was 6-11 against Atlanta.

- I made the following cuts: DE John Denney, WR Julius Pruitt, P Hunter Stewart & LB David Nixon.

From what I understand in Madden, it's no different than in NHL/FIFA where eventually you get to a point where your "unpaid" team can't stack up to the "paid" teams.

I got to the point in FIFA where I had an all Holland International team, with most of them in form variation of the cards.

I think the biggest misconception on VSN is you have to pay to be good at UT. I can't speak for Madden, but in FIFA I even had an all silver level brazil team that would constantly whoop on EPL and La Liga super teams. It literally takes maybe 20 games to get to a gold level team, and there will always be improvements.

I am sure it is much different for madden because of the player database being smaller. But for the case of FIFA you will be just fine without paying, and it becomes more addicting that way.

Yeah. Once loaded tpu can scout players in weeks 1,5,9,13 & 17.

I've heard that the CPU drafts by OVR only and the fix to that is to control all 32 teams and set position importance to 0 for some and 100 for others. Then set everything back to CPU control and the AI will draft appropriately.

As for players debuting out of whack...IDK. I've heard Andrew Luck has a portrait of a black guy. While that sucks, it doesn't ruin anything for me b/c no one else is going to see it.

So I just finished another online game vs my cousin and it was smooth and I was host. I have no idea what happened with those two "removed from the game" situations.

One thing I noticed after both games. When it is showing how many points you earned the last thing says "Completed X games, -100 points". My last game said I completed four games and lost 146 points?!? WTF?!?

there is only one problem with this. the depth chart only goes 3 deep. u will notice the 4th player listed is always the best overall. During pre season games, due to the auto subbing feature the game will have some really stupid things going on. Like my starting LT is in at RG or my HB1 is in at WR4....weird shit.....its only during pre season that i saw this kind of thing. Ruins it to an extent...but you can always make changes when it happens. It just gets annoying cause they sub every quarter

I noticed that in my first game. I figured in game 2 I will manually sub in the 4th and 5th guys on the depth chart.

Has anyone tried creating a gameplan this year and using gameflow? I actually didn't try it last year, but, I am considering it now. Would cut down on a lot of useless scanning through playbooks - even with custom playbooks.

played the packers in my chise and Rodgers in on the IR with some season ending injury.. yet he still goes out for the coin flip in uniform?
