Mark Sanchez sucks

Flacco isn't having a down year, he is having a typical Flacco year.

Just threw that in there because Sanchez gets a lot of heat and Flacco never seems to get any even though he is just as average as Sanchez.

I would lean toward Joe having a down year, but even if Flacco does suck, it doesnt make Sanchez suck any less, just makes Flacco over-hyped.

He is in NY he got hyped...did anyone think this guy would be awesome? No....he is an average NFL who needs alot of help around him to be successful. He will never be the team MVP.

NY is so weird.....most people still hate Eli and say he is not good and everyone still has hope that Sanchize will be the Jets savior.

Flacco is slightly better than Sanchez, which means he is slightly above average.

Sanchez is painfully average.

Either way, they both play in similar systems and they've both had some success due to the systems. Neither are that good and both would be terrible on most on other teams.

Yeah, he's looked terrible this year, especially against teams that aren't any good. Here is what I think...Flacco had success in 2010, and the Ravens looked to expand Flacco's role in the offense a little more. But, the Ravens lost Heap (Flacco's go-to guy when healthy), they got rid of Derrick Mason, signed a completely ineffective Lee Evans, and now start stonehands Torrey Smith at WR. The Ravens took a big step backwards in terms of receiving corps, yet they still want Flacco to play a prominent role.

True a reliable TE is key and the new fad in the NFL. Seems like almost every good team has a WR/TE type players. (Graham, Gonzalez, Hernandez, Gronk, Finely and so on) Ed Dickson is not that bad...not sure of his blocking capabilities.

IF Eli didn't have Jake Ballard bailing his ass out this year they Giants would be under .500

It also seems that the Jets are SUPER conservative with Sanchize in the playoffs but hey it works......till the AFC Championship game at least.

That about sums it up. You take guys who were reliable targets, and that means you can't move the chains. That is what the Ravens struggle with in the passing game- the intermediate throws that you use to get first downs. Stupid decision to get rid of both Mason and Heap.

I think super conservative would be over stating things a bit, but I get what you are saying.

This is true....i forgot about that so he does get some bonus points for that.

He is a serviceable guy but should be farther along if he want to be a top NFL QB. Look at Dalton and Newton they are already beyond Mark.....which is amazing actually.

Flacco had a much better year last season than I thought before looking at his stats. 25 TDs and 10 INTs is impressive.

I guess I just forget about his regular season stats because the last thing I see of him is an average or shitty playoff performance every year. Hard to remember when he gets to the playoffs, plays like shit, and looks like he doesn't have a clue about what's going on.
