i only played the SP Demo. it had its moments of greatness, but also some things that were a off. The cutscenes were like watching a poorly dubbed film. the dialog just didnt match the lip movement.
control of shep feels as lathargic as ever. These guys must be fans of 2k football because they got the herky jerky movement down.

The hero theme was a little over the top and felt corney and forced. i was hoping for a little more variety in the mission design, but i can see its gonna be a linear approach like ME2 was. obviously no RPG aspects built into this demo. And the dialog choices were all pointless in the demo.

i wish they would just tell you what shep is going to say instead of putting up some phrase that has nothing to do with what he ends up saying. They should just make it a generic renegade or paragon choice...cause thats all it is now anyways with a little BS fluff included.

i thought the pacing of the action was pretty intense. I loved how the powers looked as an adept....although i did not like how they were totally inaccurate. especially consider how spot on they were in ME2.

i love the newly expanded power trees. They didnt go full on rpg like ME1, but it was alot more expanded than ME2. The voice acting and player models looked great. The faces got a major bump in detail and the story that was told was also engaging. I just hope we get more back story to the intro story in the demo. anyone who played the series could have predicted the story around the krogans...not that i guessed it, but it seemed like a logical scenerio....and a welcome one. I love the krogans

overall it was a good demo. i am no more excited than i already was...which is to say that i am not because i worry i will be let down. This game has alot to live up to and some tough shoes to fill

I loved pretty much everything about the demo except for the melee combat. I couldn't get the hang of it (at least, as far as a heavy attack is concerned).

Played through both mp maps. Prefer the opposite one than what brnt, atlas and i played on, it's much bigger. Got through the waves on both and damn is it fun. It's really gonna make me split my time between SP and MP.

Guys do not sleep on the MP it is a lot of fun.

Played a few rounds with Brink and a random pubbie last night.

Learned that Medi-Gel Revive Packs are like bricks of gold above all else; also, if you plan to play online, bring someone with Warp as a power.

Somehow Bioware thought that fast snipers with shielding wasn't enough so they added Grey Fox clones from MGS into the game with Barrier.

Wrecked our shit because no Warp Ammo = Death after Wave 8 for Soldier class.

If you have a Battlefield 3 file, EA will give you early access to the MP; i.e., the option will be open when you boot the demo up.

If not, EA's making MP available for everyone the 17th of this month.

Wow that sucks. I knew i read somewhere that it wasn't available till the 17th but was confused as to why i was playing.

Throw against the guys with the Riot Shields is straight cheese.

The shield guys are "bullshit" if only for that you can't effectively take them on conventionally without biotics.

I dig the idea that they force you to swap tactics if not whole classes to win a round in the demo.

Flanking works well generally as well as upgraded Frags as a Soldier... haven't had time to use the Cobra missile I got last night.

I killed one with the Katana shotgun.

I'll own up to the CPU getting stuck going around a corner and having points-upgraded ammo damage but shooting a chunk of health of with each shot was awesome.

I got like +960 xp for it but I got my "Big Damn Hero" moment.

The multiplayer alone makes it worth it.
