Do your cloud saves stay on there whether you have PS+ active and inbetween having it active or not? PS3 hard drives sorta suck, seems like cloud saves might be a must.

It's pretty hard to avoid on any gaming website or podcast. EVERY ONE of them is saying the same thing. The ending blows because it's so ambiguous and none of your previous decisions seem to hold any weight whatsoever and it leaves the story open for what will probably be DLC. I mean fuck, they already charged $10 for DLC that is apparently pretty integral to the fiction and should've been included in the game.

You really don't think EA wants to cash in even more with some post game DLC?

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they try to appease the angry mob just a bit by offering one bit of DLC for free, sans cheevos and trophies because of MS's bullshit rules, and then they release even more that you will have to pay for, to get a real conclusion on the whole story.

I won't speculate as to if EA wants to cash in on "post game" DLC because it hasn't happened yet. My guess, as I said, was that they will offer it for free and it won't "change" things but will rather explain them a little better.

Would you stop listening to the internet and podcasts? Christ. If you want to post about the subject, AT LEAST play ME2 so you have SOME concept of the story. Or you know, you could also play ME3 and then maybe offer something other than what you heard other people say. What does that offer to discussion?

I know he's started it, I just don't understand why you would need to comment on the ending if you haven't even finished the SECOND game, let alone the first, second and third.

And I am getting quite a bit of foreshadowing in my playthrough now at 3/4 of the way through, to the point where I'm beginning to wonder if Bioware just really wrote a fucking amazingly crazy conclusion...or if I'm just reading too much into stuff. The codex man...it is just so crazy specific about some shit.

Brink consistently won't revive me... Even after I see him go down and I biotic charge halfway across the map to somehow save his ass in time just before he gets stomped out. :smh:

That was the number 1 theme of the night aside from awful shit-talking (and yes, Kermit did good).

Every time someone went down, an enemy would chill for a bit, see nobody was coming, and then stomped out one of us.

I, "luckily," had the luxury of knowing no one would get me if I surrounded by Reapers... unless they were cloaked.

I'd still rather play with you guys than any randoms though.

Playing with a couple of friends has really ruined playing with randoms for me. Between never reviving, never going for the data pockets, never standing in the hack field, and ALWAYS fucking up the extraction...it just isn't worth it.

I finished my second playthrough yesterday with my Paragon Infiltrator ME2 Shepard. I did my best to do every sidemission on this run, and it was much more satisfying than my first minimalist run. Regardless of what you think of the ending, the gameplay is great as is most of the story.

I will say that the mission part of the Journal could be much better, and BioWare took this a step back from ME2. It was a little frustrating trying to keep track of the fetch-quests with no way to check if you already collected an item. It got to the point where I just did a circuit around each part of the Citadel to complete the quest associated with the new item I picked up.

I'm sure I'll go back through ME2 at some point to vary some specific choices regarding who makes it past the suicide mission to see how they impact ME3.

My Paragon Soldier Shep saved everyone.

Renegade Adept Shep did not due to the dumbass "do even one mission and half the crew dies" thing.

 

It cost Legion and his buddies in the long run.

I didn't think it was "do even one mission and half the crew dies"...at least, it wasn't for me. I did a few missions one time and the only ones who died were Kelly Chambers and the like. All of the companion characters lived though. Or maybe that's what you meant.

During this period, Reaper enemies will be severely depleted and there will be far fewer brutes than usual.

All players will get +25% experience over the weekend as Citadel Allied Command reviews the lessons of Operation Goliath and uses them to train new forces.

Looking ahead: Admiral Hackett has put out the call for advanced combatants among the N7 squads. These troops are being marshaled for an upcoming elite operation. Experience under fire leads to promotions….

Last weekend the community joined together to push back the reapers in Operation Goliath. With over 3 million brutes killed, their numbers have been decimated. Expect to encounter far fewer this weekend.

As a reward for that outstanding performance, join your friends online between 5 PM PST Friday, March 23 and 5 AM PST Monday, March 26, to reap the rewards of last weekend’s successful offensive with a 25% XP bonus.
