I wonder if Flacco will ever get over that hump. I mean, I like the kid, much the same as I do Matty Ice. But the light at the end of the playoff tunnel looks so far away still with all the great competition ahead of them.
They are both so close, but their teams seem to be a couple pieces short. In Flacco's case it might be too little too late. Lewis is "slowly" getting older but older nonetheless, Ed Reed already threatened retirement once, age is catching up with that defense. Offense too, Heap, Housh, Boldin is no spring chicken, Mason, Stalls, and I doubt they can maintain all three RB's on that roster for many more years, somebody is going to want to get paid (Ray Rice). Flacco just needs a little magic right now I think come playoff time, but I'm not sure he has it in him yet. Maybe in time he'll be that guy, but his team might not be there for him by then.
