Nothing special. Slightly higher than usual, up from last year's Extreme Rules, but you'd like to see more out of that type of investment.

Big question now, is did they kill Lesnar by booking him to lose? If so, he won't really mean anything going forward in terms of PPV until WrestleMania.

Last year Extreme Rules did 108/216.

Also, WrestleMania final number came in at 1.21 million, under the estimated 1.3 million Vince had previously announced to investors. So Rock/Cena failed to break the WrestleMania record, held by BOBBY LASHLEY VS UMAGA!! (j/k. Trump hair vs McMahon hair).

Unless you were talking about WrestleMania, to which I would agree. I still think that show will draw no matter what they put on it or how they build it.

I felt the whole contract demands shtick killed the hype for the match. Besides, these C PPVs dont draw for shit anyway. I guess they couldn't hold him off until Summerslam, but that would have at least created a ton of buzz and a pop in the buyrate. Of course, they cant go that long with blowing their load.

It's gonna be the same thing when they do HHH/Brock in July instead of Summerslam. Another shitty buyrate and it will leave them with nothing to do for SS unless they go straight to Brock in the title match....and even that won't mean much unless they let Punk do his thing on the mic.
