That defense is too inconsistant. they're good, dont get me wrong but they've allowed a lot of points this season. Their offense is fine, McNabb likes to hold the ball for a long time, that's one thing that hurts him.

The Eagles prolly have one of the fastest offenses in the league, there is no reason for him to say he has no weapons. You have to get the ball to where they are first.
 
The defense is very inconsistent. That is a very correct statement. If the offense plays like they did the final 5 games of the regular season and in the playoffs then the Eagles offense is fine. To me the Spagnoulo defense looked a lot better than the Jim Johnson defense.
 
I'm actually happy that McNabb is doing this, he can get what he wants. I know he wants two things, a good power back for short yardage, and that big name receiver (Both can easily be gotten at this point) But the eagles don't wanna spend the money.

TJ Houshmanzedah, Anquan Boldin, Fred Taylor, Larry Johnson, Deuce McCalister..... just a few names that would make Donovan McNabb AND Eagles fans very happy right now.

We had the best defense in the NFC, 3rd best in the league.... How is that inconsistent?

The defense averaged 18.1 points ranked 4th in the nfl in points per game. Dallas averaged 22.6. ranked 18th and yet the eagles let up a lot of points? I dont think so.

yards per game? 274.3 eagles were 3rd. what about dallas? 344 yards per game. a lot of points maybe but not the worst if they were the 3rd ranked in the NFL.

LMAO I bet you expected me to disagree with you didnt you... And McNabb doesnt play for Dallas so why are you even bringing them up? The Eagles have played sloppy in BIg Games... That last game vs Dallas was just a sloppy effort on Dallas Offense part and a Very Good showing on the Eagles Defense.

Freddie Mitchell sucked, Todd Pinkston was afraid of the ball, James Thrash had like 2 years where he was decent, and Chad Lewis had played like half a good year and had 2 good catches in the NFC Championship vs. Atlanta. Their current receivers are a lot better then those. Those receivers looked better then they were because they had a great trio of running backs in the backfield. Duce Staley, Buckhalter, and a young Brian Westbrook. Desean Jackson i believe will be a very good receiver for a long time, Curtis is a good #2, and then they have decent receivers after that. (who are just as good as the receivers you mentioned above and their backups)

How did the samething happen in Dallas? did TO get suspended? Did TO divide that locker room? The only problem TO had was he voiced his opinion to the Media a bit too much....Name me 1 WR who doesnt want the ball

No, obviously not. Not everyone. But a lot of people seem to hate on McNabb despite his winning percentage being better than every QB in the league not named Brady or Manning.
