If you move shoot close and shoot inside down to about 20 each and move mid ranger to about 70-75, the CPU takes much more realistic shots. They still shoot inside, but only if they have the space or a high tendency to shoot from the post.

had 20 turnovers in my first game with these I lost 72-97 to the Clippers in my chise. I shot 40% from the field and they shot 54%. Way to many steals clippers had 18 I had 13.

Listen faggots. Before you come in here crying that the CPU has too many steals with these sliders, I bet your all forcing shitty passes/shots.

I consider myself to be pretty good at the game so these sliders may be difficult for a vast majority of the people who play this game.

Go use some easy all-star sliders or something if you can't manage to take your time and move the ball around like a normal NBA team would.

These aren't meant for everyone. That's why making slider sets is dumb. People bitch and bitch but don't realize that sliders are dependent on your individual play style.

I wanna lower the defensive help slider...but not that much...maybe to 35 or so?

the steals, like mike has been saying are due to bad passes...say if I make a cross the court pass or to the other side and there's oh....2-3 defenders there, it's going to get picked off...I like where it's at...assists are too high but i don't think u can really fix that.

Mike makes a valid point. Sliders are meant to be more of a "base" for your play style. Not every set is going to give the same results. My play style probably doesn't match Mike's play style. Especially when we're using two different teams in our associations. What Mike has here I've tweaked. If he makes an adjustment, I'll make the adjustment and watch what happens in the game and adapt my game play, or switch the sliders.

This isn't supposed to be a cure all for guys not getting 100% realistic stats. These as a base set are as close to 100% that I've seen. With personal tweaks to fit my game play I'm having challenging, realistic games. I'm blowing out, winning close, losing close, and getting blown out.

Figure out where your weaknesses are and adjust.

It's not even direct steals. I know exactly what is happening to people who are turning the ball over excessively. They are throwing passes and defenders are deflecting them and eventually being recovered by the defense.

The CPU isn't straight up ripping them (unless they pump fake excessively, in 2k9 the CPU was very easy to get up in the air with a pump fake).

Exactly. Variety is common when it comes to NBA scores. You can't get blown out 1 game and think the sliders are fucked. lol, no. You got blown out because somewhere, you made mistakes. It's easy to adjust sliders in your favor when things go sour.

I'm probably going to have my first ever losing month ever in a 2k chise with my Wolves, but I'm cool with that. It's tough but I'd rather lose for the sake of realism than boost sliders in my favor just because I can't adjust to what the game is throwing at me.

yeah griff, there really isn't anything you can do about assists unless you run isolations and/or let your big men actually do work in the post.

Hm, maybe boost user defensive awareness? If you notice your CPU teammates getting burnt, that may work for you.

Practice makes perfect though!

Practice, better D, etc etc. I'm holding teams to sub 100 final scores (on occasion) with the shitty T-Wolves D with these.

So am I (only lost one game where opponent scored 102), guess I just need to practice more like you said. My offense needs to get going some more as well. Cause when they get cold...it's like ice and I can't score for 3-4 minutes at a time.

Yeah, having an offense that can put points up helps as well. lol. If your holding teams to 100 points, that's decent, considering the Pistons aren't really one of the best defensive teams in the league anymore imo.

Hmm, well I'll try boosting it up a bit. My only question is, how much do you boost these sliders to see "noticeably different" results? I'm guessing maybe 2-3 clicks at the maximum each time? This is what's happening alot, I'll be playing man-to-man and when the CPU's C/PF goes into the paint the guy I'm guarding will dish it out to the C/PF on the run and all he has to do is lay it up or dunks it on me.

As far as the Pistons defense comment, I'll agree with you there. Personally I think we're in rebuilding mode and we really need to get a solid big man. It is nice to have Big Ben back though.

Turned up defensive awareness up 5 points, just finished playing Orlando. They musta had like 10+ alleyoops...was like watching a damn Globetrotter game. Turned down CPU Alleyoops to 30 late in the second half. Lost (again) 89-82. *sigh*

And I just tried on Superstar as well, same shit. 1-7 (7 game losing streak) with the fucking Pistons...I know I don't suck this damn bad when I did quite well with them last year. Whatever.

Umm, maybe you do? I'm just saying.

This year's game is much harder then previous editions. The CPU defense is boosted way up and they're offensive abilities are through the roof. I've played a good 20 games now and I think Mike has the cheese curbed just enough to make this game enjoyable and challenging without dumbing down the game play.

You said your getting the lobbed passes over your CPU controlled defender? Why not play on ball defense? Or if you see the pass coming pick the next player in the paint and collapse him with the defense. A lot of people complaining on here about these sliders, and the game play. When all you have to do is play the game of basketball, the way it was meant to be played.
