And you shouldn't write him off yet - that would be stupid. But he won't ever succeed, and if he doesn't, you really need to can the stupid fucking excuses behind it, because staying healthy is a huge part of the NFL. If Sam Bradford injures his shoulder over and over again, and fails to do anything relevant, he'll be a complete failure, too. Matt Stafford hasn't even gotten to .500 yet, so I wouldn't say he's gotten anything accomplished on the field yet, but be the major fucking failure that a few of us had him being, coming out of college.
If Stafford doesn't succeed I won't make excuses. All I'm saying is that so far this season he's played good when he's been out there. Not great, but good. Of course staying healthy is a huge thing but it really isn't something Stafford can control. Its just his body isn't built to handle the NFL, or at least it seems like it isn't.
